That’s being nice.

Imagine Madueke but less refined and with an even worse footballing brain. Then double it.

At least Sancho had a high football IQ and the ability to spot a pass, his only hindrance was his lack of pace for the PL.

So he fits right in with the two SD signings

60M for a lower tier Jadon Sancho is trash.

If we could do that then we should have hijacked the Mbeumo transfer or even added extra bit of money for Rodrygo!

Rodrygo salary will be too high, mbeumo is too old.

Issue is they also intend to sign one of Etikite, Pedro & Kudus and also have Quenda coming in the summer.

What is the plan? He needs regular pitch time to develop, and IMO he isn’t good enough to be a starter. Looking at the state of our wingers; paying £55m for a bench player is ridiculous.

You have too look at gittens less as bench player more like development player.

And as I said many times from financial pov, it is better to sign 3 40m player than 1 120m player

But you also said there is nothing wrong with Maresca ball, and that Jackson is a good player.... so forgive us if we take what you say with a pinch of salt. ;)

I can see Carney or other player moving to Dortmund in a separate deal.

They don’t want to buy him though; they see him as 15min-25min depth, and want him on another loan deal. They have already paid £28m for Jobe Bellingham who plays in the same position.

Mbeumo is 25. Wow.

I'm convinced none of the players want this bollox either. Go into an academy system at 7-8 years old. Work for 10 years under the extreme pressure of being released at any time for the next shiny toy. Eventually break into the first team at 18. Play for 7 years then either move abroad or down the level cos you're too old at 25 and have dwindling resale value.

Crazy world.

None of these foreign clubs will buy our players unless they are cheap. All of these clubs have financial issues and they know that we are mugs. It's why we entertain Arsenal, Tottenham, Man Utd. Its the only way we will be able to sell play3rs.

Outside of Saudi I am convinced that the only clubs that will pay for players are Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

If you look at the game not from football pov but from financial pov as we are doing then 25/26 is too old unless you are free or very cheap.

Mbeumo is 25. How tf have we come to an age of football where someone born in 1999 is considered old

I think people look at Mbuemo and because he is fully bald now and looks older, people just assume he is older. He is 25, yes. LOL. Not old at all.

Madness to me that continuous rejects Man U and Spurs are battling for a premier league proven 15 goal plus winger. While us champions league qualifiers are buying u21 prospects.

Then us and Newcastle chasing Pedro over Mbeumo is confusing.

Anyway too late now hopefully Gittens turns out to be the only player Southgate missed and didn’t give a cap to. Pace and dribbling is usually a good watch but needs to have the brain to go with it. Fingers crossed.

But signing a bunch of kids just means yo-yoing in and out of the Champions League, never competing amongst the very best and losing out on massive money through prize money and sponsorships. Also, as we are seeing now, the majority of these young players are going to be hard to sell for profit in the future anyway. So even from a financial point of view, it's not going to work out.
