That's entirely dependent on who those goals are scored against.

I can't see him finishing with 30+ no matter what happens, though. He's only done that once in his entire career and it was when he was at the peak of his abilities.

Yes but he got those 30+ goals at Liverpool when he was creating and scoring brilliant goals all on his own. He's already bagged loads this season just tap ins against poor sides and deflections and even an own goal. Who knows how many more easy goals he'll get?

I reckon he could hit 25, easy.

Torres may only have 1 more game at our club.  Wishful thinking but it's a possibility.

*Fingers crossed*

Bout as much chance of that happening as you giving him some credit......

He's got 15 already, it's not out of the question

Anyone see RVP again yesterday? What a goal. What a striker. It's gonna be fantastic when Torres does that this afternoon.

Here's a link to the current EPL top scorers chart;

I'm glad Felliani isn't playing today. He has scored one more than Torres.

If you look to the right of that goal scorers league, you'll see the league that matters!

Would you rather have the top goal scorer but your team in fifteenth position?

Not really. I'd rather have a consistent top class centre-forward who does it in the big matches and can help us climb that other table.

As I said, looking forward to an inspired Torres running the Everton defence ragged this afternoon. About time he produced a moment of match-winning brilliance like Van Persie's yesterday, or even a moment like this:

Aahh, those were the days eh? A proper world class centre-forward and manager.

Stunning, one of the greatest goals the prem has ever seen.

I think he was pretty decent today; he had a couple of chances he should have done better with but again kept the ball better, made fewer sh*t decisions and looked generally more lively than usual.

When we broke 3 on 1 at the end I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one baying for Oscar to go it alone.

As soon as he passed to blondie I knew the chance had gone. And so it came to pass. Im not having 'it was a good tackle by Distin' either, it was gutless from Torres.

It was just another afternoon of running away from the ball in the penalty area.

All in a days work.

He is so poor, he makes Distin look like a world class defender.

Tbf Distin is underrated. He's actually a pretty solid defender.

Torres was as horrendously bad as he usually is. Standard performance against any half decent team.

When that break happened I was shouting at the tv for Torres to move away from Oscar. Either buy himself more space or take Distin away with him. It was really poor , that said I don't think he had a bad game , just nothing special. I suppose he could claim an assist twice removed ?!!

Im in the boozer and when we broke the first thing I shouted was don't pass to Torres for f**k sake.
