He's been given the type of football he wants with Sarri..assuming we qualify for the CL next season....if that doesn't make him stay I suspect improved contracts will have no chance.

 

I've not always been his biggest supporter but he honestly seems to care more about the football he plays than boosting his profile or wages marginally.

Turns out the West Ham game was a one-off.

How many times has he come in from the bench and blown everyone away? Three times now I think?

Out of nowhere, he just slalomed in as if he was in a racecar drifting contest and piledrived it into the net.

He has stepped up a level since the start of the WC......and with Sarri's system he looks uber happy and hungry. This will prove to be a huge factor whether he stays or not........add silverware this season and it gives us more hope. The Club must convince him we will go after quality players to help him out more.........He knows damn well he plays for one of the Elite Clubs around and that all Chels fans adore him. He wont get that love at RM........maybe his pal Tibo will confirm that to him.......fat chance though.

He always said that of he's happy with his football he has no reason to leave, and I suspect the club specifically went for Sarri because of that we could of gone for other managers but apart from Pep Sarri is probably the most attacking manager in world football and I believe the club went at lengths to get Sarri so Hazard stays.

Can't think of a better goal he's scored than that one!

Re if he ever goes to RM. If he does I'm sure he'll do well there and I would never feel bad towards him leaving for what is one of the top 3 biggest clubs in the world, and also, we had great value for money from him! But, if he did join RM he'd just be yet another if those so called "galstico's". If he stays at Chelsea and continues to his level for 3 or 4 more years, he'll go down not only as one of the all time Chelsea greats, but an alltime Premiership great. 

 

Doesn't matter how many times i watch this it just makes me smile.

It's a real thing of beauty. I've watched it so many times since getting back from the match, blink and you miss this little maestro. People can debate whether he is the top player in the world all day, but what isn't debatable is that there are very few players capable of that sort of play. On to Saturday!
