March 9, 20179 yr He's been linked with Madrid for years. Unless Madrid breaks up the BBC, I don't think he will be a guaranteed starter, and won't be contemplating the move. If we win the league, and reinforce it with 2-3 big signings, Hazard and his pals could achieve it all at Chelsea.

March 10, 20179 yr Fully deserved goal of the month for Eden. Maybe I'm been biased but it's goal of the season for me too.

March 13, 20179 yr Author I don't think I have known a player that gets targeted as much as hazard. Teams are constantly trying to kick him out of the game, and it was the 1st time tonight that referee had actually protected him.

Not sure I agree with that, whilst the ref sent off Herrera there were countess bookable offences against him and I am also pretty sure Rojo got a stamp on him will need to see that again though. On another note I thought he was almost unplayable tonight whilst he didn't make a goalscoring impact the only way the MU players could get near to him was by hacking him down Edited March 13, 20179 yr by PedroMendez

He let a couple go second half, can't blame him for missing the rojo stamp, but if you compare it to how hazard was kicked out the psg games, I'd call this progress.
March 13, 20179 yr I thought Hazard had a great game tonight under the circumstances. United clearly went with the tactics that they'd try and kick Hazard up and down the park but they even when they tried he still managed to evade them a few times. He plays like that in the big games going forward he'll be able to justifably claim to be in the world class bracket. Bested only by N'Golo for me.
March 13, 20179 yr Smalling must have nightmares about Hazard. Every time Hazard comes up against him, he is always making him look foolish. And he's supposed to be one of England's best CB's too

Why would any ref say any more fouls on a particular player and they get booked? Lol what happens if the whole squad tackle him they all get booked? What actually happened was Jones was on his final warning for persistent fouling which doesn't just have to be against Hazard. The captain is allowed over and and he explained it to both. Herrera got sent off because of the Jones incident.
March 13, 20179 yr What a game tonight for him! He got hacked most of the times because they couldn't stop him otherwise. He commanded our attacking front and showed the quality he's got. Herrera got sent off for being a pr*ck. Didn't the ref just told ManU that one more and the card is coming? And he, being booked already, goes on and makes that tackle on Hazard like 10 seconds after...
March 14, 20179 yr Hazard must be kept at all costs. Young, most fouled player, proven pl, skills for days on end, spectacular goals. Make the pl great again, Eden!

Surely you would have to tell all the players collectively that the next player to foul Hazard is booked, how would a team of 11 players know this info? Lol I haven't even heard of this since being a supporter for over 20 years. The ref just sent him off as he didn't book Jones and Hazard certainly made the most of it. There was alot worse fouls that went unpunished in the second half so inconsistent refs again. The captain is the only player who is allowed to approach the ref which he did but surely the ref was just talking to Jones about his consistent fouling.
March 14, 20179 yr Apart from his shooting, he had a 9/10 game. It took some bravery to keep coming back for more when you know you are going to get a kick or worse. The stamping was ridiculous, let's hope they review the game. As discussed by many in the game thread, the United plan was to kick Hazard off his game, and hopefully off the field. Parking the bus is a tactic we all accept, but try kicking a player off the field is utterly disgraceful. The referee had to make a decision at the time or the game will turn into a brawl match, for god sake even Graham 3 yellow cards Poll agreed with the decision.
March 14, 20179 yr United fans accusing him of diving, I don't think Iv'e ever seen Haz dive, he's a pretty fair player, doesn't commit many fouls, gets hacked all over the place and doesn't dive, talk about bitter.

Have you ever actually played football, I've been in countless games where a ref has told the captain the next fouls a booking, i can hardly remember a game where it didn't happen.

Oh, don't worry, the players knew, in fact, the whole of the stadium knew because we were expecting a yellow card to Jones and instead all we got was a lengthy chat between the ref and we all booed that decision. And Herrera still decides to tackle Hazard again as soon as the ball has been played, you really have to be thick. His fault and no one else.
March 14, 20179 yr Definitely become more think skinned under Conte, clearly toughened him up. He's come to terms with the fact teams will target him all game long, and in the past he could go missing from time to time however now he doesn't let it phase him and keeps himself in the game. He was class last night, our best player behind Kante, which I'd probably say speaks for the season. Keep him at all costs this summer.
