September 1, 201510 yr Why has he signed a new deal and then gone out on loan? Makes no sense Winds me up when players do that when it's clear they will never get played/get chances, shows such a lack of ambition. Don't get me wrong, I admire players for wanting to make it here but it gets to a stage where it just becomes delusional/naive for them to remain. Good for the club though, I guess.
September 1, 201510 yr Why has he signed a new deal and then gone out on loan? Makes no sense Probably only protecting our assets....and stops direct rivals getting him or maybe Jose is unsure, I think he is only 24/25...so who knows?
September 1, 201510 yr Victor Moses has today signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea and will spend the remainder of this season on loan at West Ham United. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/08/new-deal-for-moses.html What The f**k Are We Doing
September 1, 201510 yr Why has Moses signed a new deal? Doesn’t he realise that he has no chance of making it and that he’ll just get loaned all over England for the next 4 years?
September 1, 201510 yr Why has Moses signed a new deal? Doesn’t he realise that he has no chance of making it and that he’ll just get loaned all over England for the next 4 years? Probably because he has been assured he will be sold and we are covering our back so we get a good fee for him? Maybe there is a clause in his loan for a fee at the end of it?
September 1, 201510 yr I hope West Ham do have the option to buy, I think this is a pretty tasteless move on our part, he was great pre season, just give the man a break and move him on, Jesus Christ. Our recent transfer activity is giving me a headache. Edited September 1, 201510 yr by Floyd25
September 1, 201510 yr Maybe been told if he has a good season he will have a future with us.. I'm sure he has heard that line before I expect him to get another 5 years deal, and get loaned out to Arsenal the following season ( provided he has a great season with West Ham)
September 7, 201510 yr Allowing Moses to go on loan might end up hurting us because its already obvious Hazard wont replicate last season's form
September 7, 201510 yr To be fair Moses won't replicate Hazard's last season form either. If there is one player in the first XI it is worth trying to play into form it is Hazard.
September 7, 201510 yr Allowing Moses to go on loan might end up hurting us because its already obvious Hazard wont replicate last season's form Even Hazard at half is best is better than Moses though. I also think it's far too early to say that it's obvious that Hazard won't be as good as last season, he could quite easily go on a great run any time now.
September 8, 201510 yr I will rather take the goal threath of Moses right now than the average perfornance of Hazard who gets missing for the first 75 minutes of our matches and then eventually come alive for the remaining 15 minutes when probably we are trailing our opponent

September 8, 201510 yr Probably only protecting our assets....and stops direct rivals getting him or maybe Jose is unsure, I think he is only 24/25...so who knows? Surely should be reaching his prime in the next 1/2 years. I don't think time is going to make him vastly superior to what he is now. Therefore if he isn't good enough now I doubt he will be in 1/2 seasons time.
September 8, 201510 yr He's not really a natural goalscorer; the highest number of league goals he's ever managed in a season is six, and that was at Wigan when he played every game and was their primary attacking outlet. That said, as long as he's willing (and judging by the fact that he signed a new contract despite clearly having no serious future at the club he is), he's probably worth holding onto; he's still only 25 in December, he's homegrown, he seems good enough that other clubs will be willing to take him on loan, pay his wages, and make him a fairly important part of their first, and hopefully he will keep improving. Previously I imagined he could adopt some sort of Kalou role at the club (although that might just be my massive bias towards African players) but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I think I'm echoing what other posters have said ad nauseam, but I imagine he will eventually become a key player for a lower mid-table club. According to Wiki he has a son called 'Brentley'.
September 14, 201510 yr So far he's playing pretty good for west ham. We should keep his to rotate the midfield instead of playing same players all the time.
