That's fine but so will our support. We're Chelsea FC not Mourinho FC. If he's going to go in to press conferences/on the touchline and take pot shots at our club and our manager then our supporters will defend our players, our club, our manager. 

 

Jose has soured this relationship, not the Chelsea support. We supported him when we were dire last year, welcomed him back warmly at the start of the season. It's only since he started acting bitter towards us it's all gone wrong.

 

i love and respect him for what he done for us, but the love affair is over now, his behaviour towards a club he was supposed to love has been appalling.

He himself said back in the days when Lamps jailed city there was no more romance so will be a two-faced geezer for his behaviour now I'd say. I loved him to bits and respect what he achieved with us but let's get things straight there is always an opposing minority in every situation even in a family of four. That some fans boo or sing about him doesn't even annoy me because HE started the slinging first. Stay in your lane boss. Sorry if I've come across as someone who's trying to abuse the man, not my intention at all. 

As I said earlier in this thread, I understand both sides of the argument but my personal view is that I respect Jose and will be eternally grateful for the unforgettable times and I wll never be able to hate him even if I wanted to.

The love I have for him will always be there, but as long as he is managing United, I won't be supportive at all (obviously) and I would much rather focus on cheering our current manager on as much as I can.

I didn't join in the singing in the Matthew Harding Lower, but it is also true that as it started the chant changed to "Antonio" within less than 30 seconds, and I saw some supporters telling off others for singing against Mourinho. But, respecting what he has done at Chelsea, I'm amazed that we can call footballers and refs "w*****s", tell them to "f*ck off", sing Pogba "birdsh*t on your head" or "waste of money", call ManU and other fans "northern bar stewards", but we can't sing Mourinho to "f*ck off" when he is behaving nastily with our players and being aggressive with our actual manager. We only started singing that when  Mourinho went off his head (can't recall the exact moment but it was after the red card). Our fans reacted to him behaving like the pr*t he is. He should have shown some respect towards this club and us fans, and we would have surely shown him respect. We applaud Mata, Lampard at City, or Cech at LeArse, surely we would have done that to him (or ignore him at most) if he had not started his personal vendetta.

Having said that, shouldn't we just turn the page and ignore him. He is a pr*ck, we know it, just leave him be. Ignoring him is the best thing we can do to turn him more bitter, he can't help himself and we've seen it in the PL and in La Liga.

We are getting a bollocking for retaliation, if someone pokes you with a stick, eventually you snap. It doesn't take much for people to give Chelsea fans grief, this is just a demonisation of match going fans, the chants may not have been classy, but Jose's behaviour is just forgotten in all of this, when it comes to us v.s him, all of sudden he can do no wrong.

He's so jealous of Chelsea and Conte's success it's killing him.

Between his first and second spell he was still number one and we struggled to move on for him, not only have we done that now we have a manager who is so far more than matching up to him the first time in terms of sheer consistency on the pitch and confidence from the stands.

And his comment trying to absolve any blame for our lack of European football was beyond ridiculous, he sounded like on of those nutters who sleep with his best friend's girl then make out he's done nothing wrong when caught out.

I was there, saw people abusing Jose and was embarrassed...as I've said before, we as fans know Jose better than anyone and shouldnt fall for his sh*t...some of his comments have annoyed and disappointed me at times over the last nine months or so...but whereas five months ago songs like 'you're not special any more' was banter, last night it was a far more vitriolic tone, like what we'd reserve for fsw...we have moved on and I'm relieved he isn't manager anymore...but without him, Chelsea would not be the club they are today and no weak barb from his direction will make me forget or stop appreciating that

When he came back with Inter, he moved on and we still were yet too. He was happy in his new direction, we weren't as much. He came back like he owned the place and he loved it.

He's come back twice now with United and the roles have been totally reversed from that Inter game on both occasions and I absolutely love it!!!

I agree, we wouldn't be the club we are today, he was great for us and I have a lot of respect for him, but it's understandable that people may chant abuse at him. He told Conte not to celebrate, he's criticised our style of play, criticised the fans, then last night he kicks a ball at our manager, (all ignored by the media and rival fans), you can't expect everyone to sit down and say nothing to him, the fans aren't robots. It's very easy for idiots like Piers Morgan and other fans not associated with us, to criticise the fans for that display, but I'd be much more embarrassed by Jose Mourinho's behaviour, then a handful of angry Chelsea fans. He is the one who is supposed to be a professional, he brought all of the chants on to himself, I can't blame the fans.

to be fair, there would have only had to have been a couple of fans chant sh*t towards him and people would be tarring all the fans with the same brush. i did see one guy from the stands shouting something at mourinho when the head to head confrontation with conte happened, but that's one person. for jose to point to the utd badge at the chelsea fans is very classless.

We will. Nothing from them last night suggested they're good enough to beat us. Just a shame we wouldn't go there as champions. Imagine Mourinho's players giving us a guard of honour. 

Did anyone actually hear the supposed judas chant? Personally i reckon he stuck the 3 fingers up as a reaction to the fact we were chanting Conte's name like we use to his.

Not even sure why we called him judas. We did sack him after all so it's not like he left on his own.

All those things you list are the kind of things many chelsea fans loved when he was doing it as our manager to someone else...e.g. Wenger...we look like hypocrites if we get upset about it now...I just laughed...seen it so many times before...difference is it was coming from the away dug out rather than the home one

Andy Walker talks some amount of tripe, if United had taken their chances it woulda been a different story, you mean the one chance Rashford had? 

 

Without Jose we'd be nowhere? Jose played a huge part but it's more down to Roman and we still would have been successful maybe not as successful but who knows? To say we'd be nowhere is a joke though.

 

Mourihno did the right thing and got out? No he got sacked.

I was there too, MHL, 30 seconds of chant as a response to his nasty behaviour towards our players and to him having a go at Conte. His previous comments sure have helped to get some of the fans turn against him, but yesterday was a response to specific behaviours in the touch line. And as soon as it started it turned into an "Antonio, Antonio" chant (started by others) like I've never heard before.

First chants were in east lower behind where Jose stood and started way before any clash with conte...that's when he held three fingers up...I laughed..,thought that was a classic great Jose response to the idiots

But we gave him an inch to complete his agenda and he jumped at the chance.
