December 16, 20178 yr Has the Tottenham bubble finally burst ? Maybe they got too carried away after beating Real Madrid. They have been sh*t since then.

The cocky f**ers thought they were up there with the big boys ....... now there dropping to there appropriate mid table place where they should be.
December 16, 20178 yr What a classic Spursy performance that we haven't seen for a while now. Quite a few moments had me laughing. Harry Winks in the box, could've shot nope, could've fallen over for a pen nope, then dribbles to the line gets put off by Kane and slips. Then we have Lloris shaking his fist like Yes! every time he saved AFTER 3-0, like it was somehow important to him to keep it under 4. And then the 4th goal is just pure slapstick, really enjoyed watching that game.
December 16, 20178 yr It’s mid-December and the season is already depressing. It’s not a marathon, but a sprint for City towards the title. And the way team around us drop points, top 3 could be sealed very soon.My only hope for some excitement atm is in the CL. If we can knock out Barca, then from QF onwards everybody has a chance.

Take Pep out and they will look like an average side under the next manager. Same applies with Klopp. This is why the argument that you have to match their spending is flawed. He doesn’t get enough credit for developing his players and optimising their performances.
December 16, 20178 yr If Kane and Alli's tackles weren't enough for a red card, then I don't know what is.

December 16, 20178 yr THINGS YOU MISSED according to daily fail Pep Guardiola got the better of Mauricio Pochettino at the Etihad on Saturday Harry Kane took a nasty shot to the face from Nicolas Otamendi in the first half Kevin De Bruyne took a swipe at Man United as he made a ‘2-1’ with his hands Tottenham Hotspur failed to register a shot on target until the second half David Silva's absence would have angered a lot of fantasy football managers NOT A WORD about the nasty tackles
December 16, 20178 yr The decision to let De Bruyne leave must be right up there with the worst managerial transfer decisions in football history ... to think this is the player we had in the bag for £7m ....
December 16, 20178 yr Spurs aren't all that, but are there still people who think that City are going to fall apart and blow a 15 point lead? It's very difficult to imagine them not walking it again next year or the year after.

The f**k is this? Clearly it was ment for David Silva
December 16, 20178 yr De Bruyne is just superb. Brilliant with both feet, unbelievable work ethic, strong and powerful runner. Still cannot believe we only gave him 3 games. Salah also looking like a superstar, which doesn’t surprise me after seeing him rip us apart whilst playing for Basel. I’ve heard people say they were both donkeys when playing for us, but if you’re not given consistent playing time its so difficult to show your true worth.

Absolutely spot on, both players are such a joy to watch and probably the most in form prem players. The people who judge both players from just a few appearances are talking sh*t. Both players never got a fair stint of games in the team. By there standards Baka is already dog sh*t and must be sold now.

Should have had a buy back clause. We dropped a massive bollock on that one. We are crying out for a player of his qualities right now.
December 16, 20178 yr Did that scum ali get a yellow for that careeer ending move? It shouldnt matter if he did or not......he should f**king be banned for many games but hey ho he is English and one that is so overrated by your media....kane's wasnt better.....ffs what is going on here. Do the English not have any honour? Just because he is English lets protect his ass no matter what.......unless they are wearing a Chels blue of course.....you think Lamps JT etc got this much service? You know like these 2 c**ts along with the usual Rooney gerrard etc? Just so so sad.......just no honour or dignity. Im not saying all English, ohh you know what I mean.
December 17, 20178 yr Both Kane and Alli should have been sent off and what will make matters worse is they will bang in he goals in the next 3 games, pricks. Inconsistency like that makes the difference.

Whilst I agree in principle with your point, a buy back wouldn't have been any good in this case as Mourinho was still in charge and didn't rate him. The decision to sell him must be one of the worst in the clubs history, when an asset is sold that triples in value within a year, questions have to be asked of the person who made that decision.
