Yeah I disagreed with the loan at the time as after his injury this was the season he was meant to prove himself with us.

Having said that I do think he is pretty much done after that injury from the little bits from him, I would be surprised if he reaches the high potential many saw in him before. Under normal circumstances I would keep him as a squad player but he's already on high wages as it is. If he takes a cut or we give him a long contract like the others then I would be ok with keeping him.

In terms of the level he could have reached (in my opinion top 10 in the world) then yes for sure that ship has most likely sailed sadly but I don't think he's been half as bad as people are making out.

He was our best player autumn 2021 and got unfairly kicked out of the team after a so so game against Man.United, and even then returned to the fold to make big contributions against Villa and Spurs before the injury took him away for the season.

He's done nothing on loan, he's unfortunately run his race for me.

At best he gets another loan and then shows something, but he's almost certainly going to be one of many many players who look a world beater at youth, show promise in the first team but then drift away.

I haven't followed much since but last I checked in he was getting praised to the hilt for his performance against Atletico Madrid.

Got dropped a few games after that and has stats of 1 goal and one assist so far in all competitions in around 15 games...

That maybe but he is still by some distance the most creative attacker we got (hopefully that changes with Mudryk) and has a big understanding with the player we should be building the team around.

Criminal he went on loan while Pulisic and Ziyech were getting significant minutes.

The canteen lady would have been the most creative winger had we given her a game....doesn't mean she should get a chance.

For me, the biggest issue with CHO was attitude and application. Had the markings of a young lad, who believed the hype and thought he was the real deal before he was.

-the calteck10 handle and profile push - trying to establish a cr7 type association before he had done f all in the game.

- the push for munich and subsequent big contract.

- the modelling he got into, out on the catwalk rather than on the training pitch.

- the extra curricular, leading to rape allegations. Would not have happened had he been in bed by 9pm and dedicated to the next day of football.

- the late night arguments with girlfriends and breaking of covid lockdown regulations. Would  it have happened had he been in bed by 9pm and dedicated to the next day of football.

His behaviour and actions all point to someone who did  not have the right set up around him to keep him grounded. a young kid who got too much, too soon, and focused on the wrong things - instead of putting in the extra graft needed to flourish.

People still rate this guy? Jesus...

He's never been the same since he had that injury, it's obvious to see. He doesn't have a career here anymore, simple as that, needs selling as soon as possible.

Think he needs to drop the muscle he's put on, he looks sluggish when he plays now. Even if his sprint speeds gone from the ACL he still had good agility when he was with us.

You make a good point here and I'm not talking about his loss of agility and athleticism which is fair. Its also evident the amount of young English players that leave here and go to Germany, all of which seem to improve in strength, size and in a number of cases,  other than CHO, athleticism.  There must surely be something about their strength and conditioning coaching that we could learn from.

They hit the gym during the winter break.

I don't mean to be pedantic but at the time there was doubts if there was a next year of football let alone next day.

I’m sure Potter wants some time with him, but it’s not overly promising given he couldn’t breakthrough against Pulisic, Ziyech, Mount and co, and potentially less chance given who we are signing.

Was electric when he first came thru. I’ve no real way to know if the pace has gone, but hopeful he closes out the season strong in Germany.

Heard he was horrific yesterday and was taken off at half time. Also reading he's been very poor since September....

If Sancho and Werner can look good in the Bundesliga whereas CHO can't I'm afraid he's simply a lost cause at this rate. Shame. Thought this loan would up his level.

CHO is basically the English Pulisic.

Not good enough, injury prone and have both flopped massively I'm England and Germany aside from a short Purple patch with us years ago.

Think both have played their last game here and will be moved on in the summer if we can find anyone willing to pay their wages.

I was scrutinizing some of your posts and thinking why does this sound the same. The typical Pulisic bashing and the same old "he flopped in Germany" and "failed in Germany" comments. Then saw the constant bashing of Potter and RLC. Then it all added up. You are @HazardousChoice 😄. People always said I would make a good detective 😄

Those people haven't been honest with you!  I don't think we can assume everyone who doesn't rate those duds or CHO are all the same person or we'd be assuming everyone at the Bridge is all the same Hive Mind!

I know it is you @HazardousChoice. It isn't just the fact you don't rate them, it is the same repetitive tone and language you use constantly about Pulisic which got tiresome. I know it is you and you know it as well.

Don't know if he might be injured, but CHO didn't even make the bench for the Leverkusen home game against Dortmund today, let alone the starting line up ...

We'll be lucky to get £10M for him at this rate ...

Can't forget that friendly in Dublin against Arsenal. Hudson-Odoi was electric, looked like he was playing against 10 year olds. He was truly a superstar in the making back then. Unbelievable what an Achilles injury can do. A career ending type of injury for attacking players, especially for explosive ones.

IMHO he is done the very top, maybe it would be better for him to find a club like the Portuguese giants, or the Dutch giants, easier leagues where he would play every week and get his career back in track.
