I really hope he gets regular game time and gets that spark back that he used to have. That element of guile and creativity that put defenders immediately on the back foot. There was so much promise before his injury and whilst he has shown flashes of form since he has never really blossomed from that first promising breakthrough.

i hope the player we get back is the confident lad that we saw break into this side amid the noises that he was the heir apparent to Hazard on the left hand side.

In some circumstances I would agree but in this one I'm a bit unsure for a couple of reason.

I feel he should be the first choice outside the current front three which in a year like this is still plenty of game time and he is on his last year next summer so we could have a repeat of 2019 situation (although with many of his peers here this time hopefully they can convince him).

Sounds like your faith in Tommy is waning Argo, and your his #1 fan. I know your clued up on the players, but lets be honest Tommy is best placed to make the call, i'm pretty sure if he thought Callum could add something to the team he would be on the pitch showing us what it is. I see it like this, Callum has been sent to rehab, Ziyech is being sent to the floor cleaners, and Pulisic will be left with the bench to try and find form from.

 

Feels like we have gone from having many wingers to being short on wingers. I feel CHO should have possibly stayed, even though the Bundesliga will be good for his development, but not with Werner and CHO both gone, feels that our wide pacey players are limited and with the amount of football that is going to be played, would have been good for CHO to stay around.

No words on his assist? Came on in the 61st and had an assist in the 65th. Hopefully he has a good season over in Germany.

I had switched on that game going to see him but was on the bench.. so moved on..any reviews of his performance..?

Nice assist, pity his team couldn't defend to save their life.

I didn't watch the game. Just saw that he got an asist and read that Leverkusen fans were very happy with his impact.

Talent was always there, just needed the right manager to nurture it. Just a shame he has wasted 2 crucial seasons in his development. 
Found it ridiculous some fans felt his level was the championship.

I didn’t watch the game but saw the assist. Was a cracking ball into the box for his assist though and from what I read fans seem to be excited!
