Well he's apparently moaning about sitting on the bench at WH so I don't see him coming here to play as a 3rd striking option because he will rarely see the dressing room let alone the bench.......like BB I hope this is just some half arse rumour that has no merit whatsoever ...'fake news'

I remember some months ago, a poster said we should sign him and got proper flamed thinking he was a troll; I wonder if he’s still here?

It would be a kick in the tits for Morata, imagine looking at the team sheet and seeing you’ve been dropped for Carroll!

SplishSplosh suggested loads of mad ones but I always believed him to be sound in his reasoning. His advocation to sign Carroll was a stroke of genius when no one else could see it. Why did he get banned?

Carroll can't even get into a side that are struggling to stay in the Premier League this season, i fail to see how he would be good enough for us. 

If the guy actually managed to stay fit, he would probably be having a decent career. At his best he is a real handful, but his best is usually once or twice every 3 months.

How funny would it be if Andy Carroll scores a header against one of the European giants, Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern?!

It is quite funny that we keep signing or being linked with players who are second tier English players from a poor generation of players at the expense of our own young English players who are widely regarded as the best group in the world for their age.

Even then people froth over a player like Sessgnon from Fulham forgeting entirely that our own Jay DaSilva was captain of the England U19 team at left back resulting in Sessegnon having to play out of position to get in the team. 

I don't know what's going on, are we really in for a player who's injury prone and has limited technical skills? 

Honestly, I saw enough of Andy Carroll at Liverpool to know that he's an average player who has to rely on his height to score goals. He's had some good goals at West Ham but don't let it fool you, he's nowhere near good enough for the top level, not even at backup, we really should stay clear of this one. 

Why do we need a big man when Morata is 6'2 and can effectively use his head? Makes no sense. Need more of a pacey forward who can finish. 

I would like to say this is rubbish yet I thought the same thing about Barkley. The Carroll rumour reminds me we were supposedly interested in Llorente before the season kicked off. I see Llorente as a better version of Carroll and Conte has mentioned some thing recently about 3 lists he gives the club with different levels of players.

After the dross Michy served up (again) when given a chance it's little wonder we're being linked with someone like Carroll. 

I'd take him if he was able to stay fit... But he can't.
