It's so difficult without a striker, we have no targets near the goal.

We are doing everything great until the final decision. We deserve to score here, it was a not bad first half, we tracking back, we're controlling the game and showing threat.

A striker is a must for us in the second half.

Incredibly frustrating half, but not because we have been bad, I actually think we have been on top. The only thing missing is that final ball or touch, if both of these things had been on point, I think we would have got a couple of goals. Tottenham haven't done anything to deserve the lead they have.

I'm also not convinced that Kane wasn't offside. I want to see it again because his head looked ahead of his legs for that decison.

Willian’s been pants for ages, we really should have cashed in on him and upgraded.

Summer was the last chance to get some good Cash for him.....good luck with that now.

Journos pn twitter all saying spurs dominatinh, dont see that at all, we are unlucky to be losing imho and are playing better. Never noticed how much kane is on the floor, wtf, he dropped like a fly for the pen, if thats morats he wouldnt get it

Shame as they've offered little bar the penalty. This team is just screaming out for a striker, I know it's been said a million times. The forward players we have on the pitch are classy but they're not out and out goal scorerers. It's just so showing in games like these. On the plus I think CHO has been great, kante too.

I just don't understand what it is Sarri is trying to get them to do.

You either press as a unit, or not at all. We are pressing slowly, as individuals, jogging towards the player with the ball, literally the worst thing they could be doing. It just means our players get moved forward, creating spaces in the midfield, with no actual pressure on the Spurs backline at all.

Going forward we are incredibly slow as well. Only CHO is attacking with any pace, it's just slow passing again. Hazard is dropping deep, and it seems like the gameplan to score is to play 3 or 4 one-twos and score a wondergoal.

Also, Alonso has been awful so far. So incredibly slow in everything he does. How Emerson never gets a game is beyond me.

think we have played pretty well, defensively solid, we've moved the ball better than in recent weeks, and we've had 2 off the woodwork.

What is letting the side down, is the final ball, Willian and Barkley seem to choose the wrong option over and over again.

Alonso has been poor in possession again.

CHO is playing pretty well, he seems to be on the same wavelength as hazard.

A quarter of the way through the tie, and it's all to play for.

So the Eng media saying spurs were dominant? f**king incredible they get paid for such false and biased view. We have been better.......give a fair ref and we will have them.

The whole “clear and obvious” thing doesn’t apply for offsides. Similar to the goal line technology. It’s either offside or not/over the line or not.

That's is ridiculous though, since there is no Hawkeye camera directly in line with players, so tight call like that one can be subjective depending on what angle you see it.

Our left side has not been enjoyable to watch. really don't understand what Sarri sees in playing Alonso every match.

he's a handsome chap, I think that's it really

Sarri's obsession with Alonso is reminding me of Mourinhos use of Ivanovic in his final season.
Completely awful time and time again but for some reason he seems to be the first name on the teamsheet week in week out.

His height is seemingly so crucial that he can be as poor as he wants and still get to play game after game..........Emerson cannot and is not worse than Alonso.

What has Emerson done to the coaches? It was the same with Conte: No matter how poor Alonso is he starts ahead of Emerson.
