The two of us have the most late match goals so it could be won or lost in the dying minutes. We need to put a few in early and put it to bed early.

This type of game won't be possible to put to bed early...our team sometimes look like its capable of letting in 3 goals in a matter of 10 minutes.

Our record at Anfield is pretty impressive, last time they won us there was in 2012...

We can really destroy their title hopes and put us strong in top 4, we have to respect ourselves and make that happen! Liverpool are playing very good football and we have to respect them, but it doesn't mean we should be worse than them. Sarri finally starting to play some fresh players and we could see how we are looking when we play our regular lineup, boring football without creativity against a low opponent.

I'd like to see this starting lineup:

---------- Kepa -------

Azpi - Rudiger - Luiz - Emerson

- - Kante -- Jorginho -- RLC

CHO ---- Hazard --- Willian

CHO should taste some real tough football and fight for the team the same as RLC. I will go with Hazard as our striker because we have poor options at our attack.

Let's make that happen boys! COME ON CHELS!!!

Would think a CHO,Giroud and Hazard would be a more effective front three.Yea Giroud is no Costa but his link up play with the likes of Hazard can be exceptional at times. He would hassle Van Dijk all game .

The only Liverpool fan i talk to about footy is a shelf stacker in the supermarket, quick natter with him today about the game, he said he's off work next week, i said "good move" and

Pretty classless that Gerrard bloke ain't he?

Forgetting he made a fool of our club and owner over his proposed transfer here all those years ago, and having a pop at our home fans who, in spite of that and all we have gone through against Liverpool, gave him a standing ovation in his last appearance at the bridge. Their mob never did that for any of our top players but apparently the ribbing he got left him sore. Wanted to compliment only the liverpool fans and insult ours.

Fair enough I guess, when you are the one who screwed over their dreams and your team mates dreams by believing those same said Kopities in to thinking you are some kind of demi-god who can do no wrong and you go and do that. Totally burst the bubble.

Cause now when people think of Steven Gerrard they dont first thing of that night in Istanbul, the leadership, the wonder goals, the snarl. They think of the slip, and why we are still talking about Liverpool finally ending their long wait to be champions of England again this season.

They may well have their name on the trophy, but their wont be a medal coming your way Steven, and you only got yourself to blame.

The Prague team makes it likely RLC and cho will start. Willian could legitimately push cho but cho’s youthful self belief and pace is good for the team.

Kovacic played brilliantly against them early in the season but doesn’t look the same recently.

We will have to be pragmatic, sit deep and hit them on the counter. Salah and mane will cut luiz  to shreds pace wise.

The best Chelsea can compete with man c and these guys, on a bad day we could lose 4 blot. I hope for a win but would settle for a draw here. As was said earlier they will be desperate.

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but it is just superb

'They wanted the clowns!' Hahaha.

These insights are why I'll always love Jose no matter what has happened since. Anyone think Sarri would have this level of brilliance in him? Not a chance.

Could be a 4:0 thrashing if we don't make the necessary adjustment to our style like we did against City months ago, but I have the feeling Sarri knows how to handle a game like this by now.  I don't think they have been as good as the media made out to be lately, Spurs should have got a point at least 2 weeks ago, and they were fortunate last week as well. We need to play like that cup final, defend compact and not leaving space behind to allow their fast players in. I reckon we could will something out of this game.
