Tomori been fantastic, but those 2 mistakes at the nend were poor. Hopefully doesnt affect him mentally like it did Christensen against Barca and derailed his career

YEP cosigned.

I think that Barcelona mistake had a huge impact on Christensens career and derailed is the perfect word to use, after that he kept giving the ball away at the back and he was nervous.

I hope this doesn't affect Tomori, young players are more fragile, hopefully he counts his blessings, learns about clearing his lines more under pressure and puts it past him.

Good strong performance.. some of the boys will grow up with matches like that.. I thought Tomori especially will learn with this kind of a match .. 2 big errors from him .. one bailed out by Zouma’s kast ditch talent and the other by Kepa

Jose said it Forbzy in his post match comments after the Liverpool game.

We play zonal marking in the academy, it has more to do with that i think.

Thought Tomori was excellent, although obviously those mistakes at the end, that could have cost us. I would give him what he wants and sign him for life. He's that good.

Kepa was our best player, 3 or 4 fantastic saves, brave as well. Jorginho is the most overrated player I've ever seen. Far from the worst, but how you guys rate him so highly evades me. Zouma was far more comfortable second half but they were poor. They're not a good side. Alonso was good but his crossing is poor, Reece got into far less dangerous positions but when he crossed the ball his delivery was far better.

Happy for Tammy and Willian, good for their confidence to continue scoring. Willian so frustrating though but worked hard, which hasn't always been the case.

A very very important win. That will do us a lot of good. 3 wins on the bounce. Well done Chelsea.

p.s. Sort out the set pieces. It's more than embarrassing.

Tomori plays so decisively, I can't see mistakes getting into his head.  Tomori is a different class than Christensen.

Nope Tomori should be looking to row z upfield not pingjng a hard past back to his keeper

He also tried to win the ball ahead of Akone allowing him to turn.. could have been 2-1 to them at that stage..

Big win, and some important experience for the 5 academy boys involved tonight.

Not going to pick apart individual perfomances, willians goal was worthy of winning any game.

I fancy us beating these at home, also beating valencia at their place, so it will come down to who fairs best against ajax, who again look fantastic.

Looking forward to it already BB. The two most exciting young teams in Europe at the moment IMO.

Tomori didnt make a mistake that kicked us out of the champions league...I think he won't even remember the mistake in a week. Let alone for his career.

I can't remember if it was linked to that period where Christensen made just one mistake a game and every time it was punished, that really had a big effect on him, I don't think was just a single game but that might have been the starting point.

Fantastic result after a pretty average if not poor performance ( my personal opinion ) against a weak opposition.  We look chaotic in every aspect of our play, Kepa saved the result tonight.  The huge plus is we are playing our academy players and hopefully build for the future,

Frank has a lot to learn, hopefully he will improve as well if given the time.  We are worryingly slow in our build up, have no pace or creativity and defense is non existent

Big test against Ajax, who has an equally young team, lost their 2 most important players, yer they are flying.

One was his fault though.

Huge win and second in the group. Can't complain.

Do you mean the one that Tomori gave him as a lofted ball with a player bearing down on him, which he then shanked having to use his weak foot.

Youre usually positive, but tonight you have gotten it wrong, we were pretty good, especially the second half, yes its still raw, but we were defintley the better team tonight.

Kepa saved us, he was the difference between us winning and losing tonight. I just thought we were too slow and sloppy until Hudson-Odoi came on.

I'm pleased overall though, getting those grindy wins are vital for success.

yes he did save us, but they were all from our own mistakes, i thought we got away with it as well, but we played the better and deserved minimum draw.

It was the starting point, because before then he was replacing Luiz and putting in great performances, he actually had a really good game in that Barcelona match but made that mistake and after that it was almost every game he was giving a silly ball away when under pressure, it definitely got to him.

Even now he's still not that comfortable passing the ball when under pressure, I just hope it's not something we see from Tomori and he learns not to over play it like that.
