Well we hate leicester round these parts, but credit to them, Liverpool melting like a snowman in the way of a Coronal mass ejection, 😆

Banter aside this is bad for us in terms of trying to get CL.

Leicester are the most vulnerable out of the current occupants and this will be a huge boost for them.

Liverpool are the most vulnerable at the moment,  they can't get out of this funk.

Maybe not, maybe Liverpool are the most vulnerable. They have been terrible for a while now.

What a player Harvey Barnes is. Criminally underrated.

Hes excellent isn't he, has to be in the next national team squad but is rarely talked about.

I must say, I have a soft spot for Leiscester and for Man City, much more than the hated Spurs, Manu, and the ratmunchers. I would think they are gonna have a keeper change next match.

Maybe I'm falling into the trap of judging on reputation but I can't help but think/worry they'll fix up enough at some point to enough to comfortably get four, like we did in Ancelotti's second season after that awful winter run.

On another note I remember people arguing with me adamant FSG were amazing owners who fully back their manager, I told them they only "backed" him because of the Coutinho money and now look, no cash from sales in the bank and the owners give them a CB from the basement Bundi team and Preston NE 😂

Say it quietly but Brenden Rodgers is quite a good manager.

How long before a top side come knocking for his services again?

Do you not consider Leicester a top side ?  They have been in the top 5 for a while now, always in the title race and have finished above Arsenal for a few seasons now. For me this is the perfect job for him but I’m sure he wouldn’t refuse if Roman called...

Wasn't intended as a knock at Leicester who I think are now very much a part of the "top 6", as you said.

But if Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal or even a continental side came knocking I don't think Rodgers would dismiss it out of hand.

Just depends what and when the opportunity presents itself, much like when he took the Leicester job.

Yes it is. Like last season I expect Leicester to be the vulnerable ones that could drop out in the end, so them winning is not great for our hopes.

Ah well,  still amusing seeing Liverpool lose at least.

I actually thought Leicester were sh*t in that match overall. They looked like they were bottling it and afraid of Liverpool until they got the goal.

I switched away after Liverpool's goal, and was not expecting Leicester comeback. They created nothing before that.

the race for 4th seems to include everyone from Liverpool to Villa - few teams with games in hand on the others. At least this is interesting, the title and relegation issues look done already.

This looks like Dortmund 2.0.

Great for a few seasons and then a very sharp decline followed by Klopp getting sacked.

I don’t remember if in his last year in Dortmund he had injury problems like this season though , i don’t think many teams can deal with their 4 first choice center backs being all out at the same time for a long time.

To be fair, injuries have killed Liverpool, and losing VVD has been devastating for them. Sorry, John Milner does not fill those shoes very well.

Leicester had 3 if their first choice back 4 injured today, Liverpool had 2. Every team has injuries, Liverpools are massively exaggerated for some reason.
