Jose’s ability to build a team is pretty much finished. Players will no longer run through walls for him.

My bet is that Jose is putting all of his efforts into the league cup final to keep his “I win trophies” like going (even though they are now sub par trophies, not major trophies)

I thought these mass goal celebrations were not allowed, city had about 12 in a huddle then, including subs. Meanwhile in the real World i had a doorstep visit from my grand daughters and couldn't hug them good bye.

It would be nice if managers had the balls to tell their players not to hug each other after a goal is scored but I doubt if they will. I've heard some managers say that it's very difficult for players to curb their emotions. What a load of crap. All the players have done is scored a goal which is nothing in the scheme of things and especially when so many people are missing out on hugging their loved ones. And to think of all those people who have not been able to say a proper farewell to those who have lost their lives.

I can't think of a team worse to watch in the league than Tottenham. All they do is stay deep and pray Kane or Son somehow beat 5 defenders on their own. Mourinho becomes more outdated by the week.

Looking at the table now, it seems quite incredible that it wasn't that many games back that both Spurs and Liverpool were top of the league. You wouldn't bet on either to make Top 4 right now, and I'm not even sure Liverpool are going to end up as the best team in Liverpool LOL. And Spurs might even slide below Arsenal if they keep this level of performance up !

He gets people on board for 2 seasons then the 3rd season syndrome comes in to play, it's uncanny how it just keeps happening. Must have to do with the mental fatigue of dealing with him.

The next generation of players are less likely to buy into his war mentality any more, it doesn't matter how much money he spends, I don't think he'll build another Jose team a la Chelsea mk.1/Inter

If Spurs can't turn it around and Mourinho gets the sack, what's next for him? What PL team wants to give him a job?

I can see him either ending up at PSG at some point, or even America.

Good to see Villa being held to a draw.

Villa's keeper Martinez looks decent IMO.

Grealish again winning some freekicks and has some excellent touches though no end product tonight.

Barkley, not his best outing for them either.

I think Man Utd was his last big club, can’t see anyone like PSG coming in for him. His time in the big time is over I fear.

If it weren't for Leicester's 5-2 win at The Ethiad our defensive record would be in trouble!

Wow this is the first time I've checked their GF/GA. 14 after 23 games is mighty impressive especially in modern day football. They haven't conceded more than 1 goal in a game since Leicester.

Over in Italy, it looks like Gattuso keeps his job for a little bit longer !

And Pirlo looking likely to be the first Juve manager NOT to win Serie A since 2010/11 !

I still think Juve will somehow win it, although they haven't looked great at any point this season. Milan are slowly declining and Inter aren't consistent enough.

Juve have a good run of fixtures from now on and once they start winning there isn't much you can do about it.

West Brom will roll over I'm not expecting anything from them. united's next tough opponent is us we need to keep winning till then. I think they're there for the taking.
