He is working with nothing though, can’t actually blame him.

Any time anything goes into him, his touch play is terrible. The ball bouncing off his head without him even looking and then it going out for a goal kick sums up his performance in these types of games.

His poor touch is even clearer to see against teams playing as defensive as this. We need quicker touch play around the box, but you can see the players don't trust Lukaku in tight area around the box, so they are hesitant to play it to him. It's why we are are struggling to break them down.

PS. Kai Havertz is absolute dog sh*t and anyone that thinks he’s going to turn in to something special because he did well in the f**king bundesliga needs a word.

I don't think he's having a particularly good game (nor is anyone really) and I certainly wouldn't go anywhere near that far in my criticism of him, but it's certainly a bad night for the word 'generational' so far...

What's our problem? Are our players just not compatible in attack? Is it the system? Are the players just not good enough to consistently breakdown teams? Is it the coaches tactics? I don't know why we struggle to create clear cut chances I really don't know it could be any of those or something else

2nd season syndrome under a new manager haha. I want to say I'm joking, but it's a recurring theme now isn't it.

He's 21 he's got time on his side

Kai has really disappointed me.

You could say the same about every attacking player we have. At some point you have to wonder if it isn’t the players. Just possession for possession sake.

No tactics or strategy from the manager.

Because he's the only natural wingback in the squad.

Chilwell adapted to the position and eventually excelled there last season. He was a first choice by the end of the season. So it is a bit of a mystery why Alonso continues to keep him out.

Also Azpi is better in a middle 3 in my opinion. I don't think he should be playing wing back. I know Reece is injured but CHO has done OK there before and would provide more pace down the flank.

Lukaku is absolute dogsh*t in these big games.

Very odd to single him out when again, the lack of service and quality is a big problem. Not saying Lukaku is playing well, but not really being given an opportunity to be.

If we need to score from a corner, I will take it 😃

FFS, the ref is making no secret hat he is on their side.... they're just falling over and getting the calls.

When a team just patiently defends, our team can't do much if our individual quality isn't that much superior. This is a pattern of the season so far.

Really missing an in-form Mount in this game.

No dynamism in attack and entirely predictable. Would like to see what CHO and Timo could do -- need somebody to go direct in attack.

Not getting anything going forward from the wing backs the last few games which is an issue. I’d consider a change there at half time. Defence has been solid enough but kovacic and Jorginho have had a few ropey moments putting them under pressure. Havertz has had a woeful half wouldn’t be surprised to see him subbed.

Look at this Juve side, their attacks are atrocious and we can't even put them to the sword

Like I said before it's going to be a long season of anger & despair!

Like we saw with Lampard he sucks on the wings and is best in the false 9 but we bought Lukakau so its back to square 1
