Really like what we saw for 70 mins against Udinese.  Sure he knows the style of football and pace was relatively easy, but he slotted right in.  Just looks like he can play to and above the level of opposition.  Also like his attitude and passion.  Can see why we've been linked for so long, and only wonder why we didn't have him sooner!

Could you imagine a 28 year old Silva and Koulibaly in the same team!

He looks better on the ball than Rudi, and is a unit, gonna be comparable to Van Djykk of Scouserpool imho, thought Mount was excellent along with Sterling and Jorginho, MOTM though Kante..

I would say Silva next captain as he is the most experienced and a leader that younger players can learn from. 

By the way i don't think "KK" will catch on lol, its a disaster waiting to happen. I would rather call him Kal or Kouli.

I like what I've seen so far. Won't miss Rudiger at all with him in the team, I think. Perhaps even an upgrade.

I feel 100% sure Koulibaly is the best signing we will make for a long time. I always knew he was a top player but his personality has proved to be what has been said of him. He is a natural leader. Always humble and knows how good he is. The best combo you can wish for. I think he will have shaky moments in his first season but that will only make him a better player in the Prem.

The player to lead our defence when Silva is not playing or has retired.

There is something about referring to some by their initials seeming a bit standoffish or whatever, but seems better when they have 3 characters like CHO or RLC.

I guess 3 letters is like there is a need to shorten it and 2 is just lazy. Kouli sounds good to me

Don't think Silva's command of the English language is good enough for him to be captain ... is he still doing all his interviews in Portuguese ?

Getting good vibes about him.

Looks like a natural leader and is arguably the best replacement for Rudiger we could find in the current market.

Very assured debut, pity he had to come off, reads danger really well.

To me he looks better than Rudiger, maybe I'm wrong but I just had to say it.

As good as Rudiger but even better on the ball IMO.

A solid debut.

He is a monster of player and defender, no wonder he has been rated as one of the world's best for years. 

His legs going is our main concern.

a couple of his last ditch interventions were better than anything I ever saw from rudigier but rudi was stronger taking the ball forward

Already has a song  Not a particularly original tune, but being sung to at your first competitive match, kudos!

Koulibaly was the club's first target for Conte, Rudiger was our compromise. I'm glad Rudiger worked out in the end, it was actually a decent second choice all things considered.
