Whilst I hope there are steps being taken to work out if there is a root cause, the fact of the matter it is it very much could be coincidence / sh*t luck. Poch's said since he joined that Lavia wasn't ready, which I took to mean not physically ready, if it isn't a contact injury or some other freak injury, I'd assume he's just pushed too hard in trying to up his fitness levels.
September 8, 20232 yr It's been a coincidence or sh*t luck for 2 years now? There needs to be a point where the club seriously figure out what's wrong and solve this issue. We need to stop blaming luck and just saying "We'll ride this out". No top club has injuries like ours. It's ridiculous.
September 8, 20232 yr Honestly I don't believe it's anything to do with the medical team. The medics will all be of high quality. I just think it's bad timing and poor fortune at the moment, a bit like last season. Before last season we had a relatively settled side. I think the pre-season before last season wasn't ideal and left the players less fit and needing to catch up, maybe pushing themselves more than usual and leading to injuries. I mean Thiago Silva is the oldest at the club and the guy is playing week in, week out for us.

Players so young their bodies can't handle the load? Fitness staff aren't up to scratch? I remember Arsenal used to be a hell hole for injuries from the late 00's to about 2016. We seem to have switched places with them completely in football . I think when teams aren't on the best of form they tend to go harder in training and that might what's happening to us atm and why we keep getting injuries in training
September 8, 20232 yr Both Kanté and Kovacic have played almost every available minute so far at their new clubs. Must be some kind of record.
September 8, 20232 yr It’s a combination of training methodoly and the medical department or PISS POOR luck believe what your narrative tells you, me I’m at a loss to explain all the misfortune the club has suffered since Putin made his big mistake
September 8, 20232 yr 33 minutes ago, General said: Putin made his big mistake He made the mistake of being surrounded by US military bases. He warned them to remove the military bases. He then made the further mistake of the US using Ukraine as a political pawn in joining NATO to further increase US military pressure on Russia. He warned US not to go any further. US continued to go further. Remember what the US do when somebody attacks - they drop atomic bombs.
September 8, 20232 yr It can't be luck. We could blame injuries on amount of games last season, so far we played once a week ( apart from last week), and more players broke down, not even match related injuries. We have a huge squad, yet struggle to put solid 11 players on the field.

Contact, accidental or otherwise, can injure. The Guardian suggests Lavia got a knock in training. It's the non-contact injuries that concern.

September 9, 20232 yr Vile pieces of sh*t Liverpool fans celebrating a bad Injury to a young player just because he didn't sign for them after Liverpool f**ked him about. They really are a disgusting fanbase.
September 9, 20232 yr Really hope it is nothing serious, but the silence is both deafening and concerning.

When they are stealing tickets off their own fans or just generally trying to stab their way into stadiums for free and causing mayhem and taking zero responsibility for it. Because they are “funny” And of course it is never the fault of their fans, but all these stadium incidents always seem to happen to their fans. . .and that is just coincidence. Heysel, Hillsborough, Athens, etc, etc. No never the fault of those “fans” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9CC6_MLJ_Y

September 11, 20232 yr Nothing at all confirmed or even commented, but have a horrible feeling he has done ankle ligament damage or something. Just too quiet.

Yep, reminds me of Nkunku injury. Club stayed silent for a while and then confirmed the speculated rumours that the injury was quite serious.
