October 16, 20223 yr We need height. Koulibaly for Cucu and we need something else on the right side.
October 16, 20223 yr lads it was nice to give Kepa a time to shine in the first half but second half let's start playing football again okay

October 16, 20223 yr Hope Potter makes some fixes for the 2nd half. It would be 4-1 if not for Kepa making multiple great saves.
October 16, 20223 yr Pls just make the subs at the break. One of Havertz/Aubameyang, & one of Chiwell/Cucurella.
October 16, 20223 yr What an absolutely appalling 45 minutes of football. Players not physically capable of going through the basics. Any decent side would had 4 goals against us so far. Cucurella is a bomb waiting to go off. Expecting a penalty from him. Potter could sub 8 players at half time

Including both wingbacks. The poor guy must be confused as hell and that's Potters fault. Sterling is our best attacker and using him like this is a complete farce. Complete shambles so today from Potter. Got everything wrong.

October 16, 20223 yr don't know what to say about that. I just don't want to watch another 45 minutes of whatever it was we thought we were doing.
October 16, 20223 yr Anyone got a steam link plz? My stream keeps lagging or cutting off. Frustrating.

October 16, 20223 yr Really lucky to be going back in the lead. We have bene outplayed bar the first 15-20 mins. Please take off Chilwell. We have already seen what has happened in games this season keeping players on a yellow eg Koulibaly, Gallagher. Need to assert ourselves more second half.
October 16, 20223 yr Koulibaly for Cucurella. Broja/Conor for Sterling/Auba. We couldn't even get near their goal for 20-30mins.
October 16, 20223 yr That first half was typical Chelsea of the past few years. We have a few good performances, get a good win in Europe, then it seems like we get over confident and stop performing. It's something we desperately need to change at the club if we want to be taken seriously again. Cucurella was terrible in that half, easily our worst player, he should come off. We also need to get some control in midfield, so I wouldn't mind seeing Jorginho come on.
October 16, 20223 yr Someone has to get closer to the player who's crossing. Every single cross was dangerous and if it wasn't for Kepa this would've been a terrible half. Anyway, the result is here and surely we can regroup at the half time. Their momentum is dropping. Ings' header was a certain goal. Possibly one of the best saves I've ever seen.
October 16, 20223 yr Wow that was bad... Chilwell is having a shocker, Cucurella looking shaky, Silva with a howler, Sterling as wingback was horrible, Kai looked lost on the left, Auba adds nothing if he doesn't score. Since RLC switched to wingback we've looked a bit better, but I expect changes at half time. I'd bring on Koulibaly for Chilwell and Jorginho for Auba. Potter is really lucky, that we're not behind at half time. Edited October 16, 20223 yr by True Blue23
October 16, 20223 yr The answer here is to get Jorginho on so we can control the ball more. And protect a littlebit of space at least because the midfielders in this first half completely failed at it.
October 16, 20223 yr Another manager, another performance where we pick and choose our intensity. Same sh*t. Same players. Different manager.
October 16, 20223 yr Chilwell should be off for Azpi. Azpi to the right and Cucu moved to the left. Ruben off for Jorgi to get the passing going.
October 16, 20223 yr Author For me our best attack is Gallagher on the right (inside right), Sterling left (inside left), and Broja in the middle, with either Mason or Kai behind. Sterling should not be anywhere else.
October 16, 20223 yr Mount, Chalobah and Thiago are the only players going for the ball. It got so bad that Villa players were taking the ball unchallanged from our own throw ins. There were also several times Villa had two players in acres of space between our midfield and defence, 4 chelsea players behind them in a line giving no effort to close the distance...

The intensity levels are bad, I agree, but the line up was bad as well. Potter partly fixed it by moving RLC to wingback and I expect more changes at half time.
