No, Tuchel had to get more out of the squad after spending £250M on players he personally selected. The CL win should’ve been the start of a serious title challenge. Instead, we floundered and got worse with every month.
Need I remind you that when Potter got the job we’d already been thoroughly embarrassed by Leeds and we’re in 6th?

Let's not pretend though that we weren't as clueless and spineless at the end of the Tuchel era. 3-0 against Leeds, 2-1 against Southampton, 1-0 against Zagreb. There's something fundamentally wrong with this group of players, not just the manager 

 

Glad to see how many fans are turning on Potter. We cannot afford to give time to someone who is clearly out of his depth.

With the squad we have, the injuries and playing RLC against a top team.

I knew we’d struggle but I’m more disappointed in the goal we conceded and the fact we played like a real underdog who didn’t even test their keeper.

I still think Potter needs time and usually I’m weary about January transfers but that midfield and attacking options are shocking and without attempting to fix them in January we won’t finish in the top 4 and will be out of the Champions League by March.

Well you lot were all too happy to give Tuchel a full season of players out of position and baffling starting lineups. By your own standards, you should extend the same courtesy to the new man.

Okay so a European Champion got sacked for two losses in six games?

What do we say to winless in four and two consecutive losses now? I am all for sacking Potter tonight but not holding my breath.

And hey, Tuchel won the Champions League with a squad that look like sh*t under Lampard and with zero players he had brought in. If Potter is so, so good. Why can't he get a tune out of this squad?

That felt like an end of season performance where the players can’t wait for it to be over. I wonder if it’s the same but the WC. Too many injures, bad form…they want to get off to the WC

The players were the problem. Tuchel said so himself.

Sterling played the whole 90 minutes. All you need to know about this team selection. The only positive is that Broja came on relatively early.

Gallagher should start week in week out considering his performances. He isn't amazing but 10x better than RLC and also better than Mount at the moment.

No matter how many more players we buy we will go nowhere with this imposter as manager I have never seen such inept management than in the last couple of premier matches. He and the team look scared sh*tless

Referring to bohley I’m quite aware potter didn't spend 200 mil (I was also a Chelsea supporter 2 months ago) then remove the man who wanted those signings, many of which signed to play under him, then put in a guy who plays strikers as wingbacks and has no top level experience. 
 

Not the best way to spend money or achieve success.

That's what I felt too but it also shows the mentality of the players we have on the squad.

Tuchel had us in and around top 4.

Potter doesn't inspire confidence on the team to even reach top 4 and you expect fans to be confident in him?

I can’t accept your point when he’s spent over £200M to improve the “sh*t” yet arguably makes us worse.

You asked me this exact same thing last week, and I gave you a very detailed post explaining it all. So instead of me repeating myself, I'll just link you back to that post

The only players that are good enough to have us competing is James, Chilwell, Kovacic, Kante and Silva. We have 5 top class footballers in the squad, 4 of them ruined by injury and the other one is 38 years old. The rest of the squad isn't good enough, and I include fan favourite Mount in that list right now. He's been performing in patches for over a year now and apart from 2 or 3 games this season, he has been sh*t.
