September 2, 20232 yr He’s doing relatively well so can’t criticised , still needs to up his game another gear. Unlucky with some nice passes that should lead to assists but his shooting seems off.
September 2, 20232 yr Don't see what others do with him in that he's exempt for churning out sh*t performances Can't shoot, can't cross, can't take set peices. He's another who needs a boot up the arse Edited September 2, 20232 yr by Chelsbear

September 3, 20232 yr Needs to be played deeper; and Poch needs to stop indulging him as a “10”, he just can’t play that role. We looked more fluid when he moved him back into the middle late into the game.

September 3, 20232 yr Played him in the wrong position, trial failed and let's hope to revert back to where he's most effective.
September 3, 20232 yr This team's main problem is the lack of scoring (as it was last season). Regardless, he was MoTM in 2 of the 3 PL games, and i think he could form a great partnership with Caicedo. Not worried about him at all, in fact i like him in this new role. September 3, 20232 yr He was the reason we were porous in the final 3rd. I have never seen an attacking midfielder who passes sideways more the center backs and my goodness the less said about his shooting the better . His winning ratio while at Chelsea is really bad. When it comes to Enzo the excuses are limitless. It's not his position, he needs help etc . When will people realize how much he slows down our attacks with his slow build up plays. What exactly is Enzo good at? Forget the fact he won the World-cup . How long will it take Enzo to finally show up in this league. He makes a nice pass we see people going bonkers over passes vs the likes of Luton and AFC Wimbledon . He never gets stuck in and seems scared to put in a tackle

September 3, 20232 yr If the rest of the team were playing anywhere near his level, we would walk the league.
September 3, 20232 yr Author He clearly looked frustrated. Need Palmer to start playing more advanced now. Enzo and Caicedo need to be compact in the pivot.

Gallagher looks like the odd man out to me. Enzo/Caicedo pivot and Palmer as central attacking mid leaves no room for Conor.

September 3, 20232 yr Enzo's Stats as a Chelsea player in all competitive matches 6 Wins, 7 draws 14 Loses( in all competitions) only 4 wins in the league ( they were against Luton, Leicester, Bournemouth, Leeds) 0 goals 2 assists ( were against Westham and Leicester City) This is a player that cost over 105M. Is he even better than Billy Gilmore ?

His stock was sky high when he joined us, and would have remained so till the summer with Benfica, when he could have joined Ciry or Real and been challenging for top honors. I bet he is massively frustrated by his choice.

Conor has to compete with Palmer. There is a good chance he plays ahead of him and as we saw Enzo played there too the other day but not really good despite his good technique. It's about the runs and how you pass, maybe conor got an eye for that. Because if Caicedo is not totally a waste he will play also for his price tag and the same for Enzo with his unique skillset in the team.

Im a huge Enzo fan, but he needs to bring more. I wish we’d just stick him in the double pivot and build from there. Stop meddling with his position - let’s get a base of our best players in their best positions.

His passing is okay in some games, but nothing to shout about in others, it's not like he is playing a ton of through balls through the defence in every game, and his shooting is awful. I think some fans are getting carried away. He's done okay, but at this time, I feel like we are getting the bare minimum I expected from somebody of his quality. The game against Liverpool is the standard he should be playing at every week. I think part of the issue why he's dropped in form is because he's playing more advanced while in the Liverpool game he wasn't. IMO he's better playing deep and coming into the final third late or behind other attacking players. Him helping to lead the line cuts him off from his ability to send in those passes/crosses we have known him for.

September 4, 20232 yr I think we overhype him because he's one of the only top young talents we've signed. Most are average youth prospects that will never be good enough but Enzo is already a good player and it's easy to see him fitting in a great team and I'm sure he will somewhere else soon.

Almost 20 games for Chelsea , and we are still waiting for a big performance . Luton, Leeds, etc. a nice youtube highlight here and there , turns out to be world class in the eyes of those easily excited. Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Maka, Ballack, Wise, Petit, etc are players that all lived up to the hype. Enzo is still adjusting to the league, but my goodness the excuses from some here are delusional all because we've stunk up the joint . All i know we lose more with him , since he signed for our club
