He's had a proper chance, Potter has already managed more games for us than Nuno did at Spurs.  Hasn't managed to live up to Nunos win percentage there though.

Not that you'd expect him to given Nuno at Wolves was a cut above Potter at Brighton and the step up is hard.

If Potter starts showing something he'll have my support but I'm not going to blindly back the worst manager we've had in decades with the worst resume  who then immediately sends us on our worst run since April 1996.  He has everything to prove.

A real question is what would it take for you to admit Potter isn't the right man given 2 wins in 11 games apparently isn't enough? Do we need to be relegated or would that be part of our long term project under Potter?  Where's the line?

Nuno didn't have his first team on crutches!! Potter has had a miserly 20 games with us - NONE of which he has been able to pick anything like the team he wants!  You SERIOUSLY expect him to have solved our issues already.......and without his first team!!?  I'm guessing you've only been a Chelsea supporter since Roman took over!?  Do you seriously think that ANY manager would have us challenging for the top 4 right now after the sh*t show of the last year or so!? 

Giving your support only once he's turned things around is NOT giving support is it?

I really hope they don't get rushed back into the starting line-up unless they're 100% ready.

If that means waiting another few games so that we avoid losing them again this season then so be it

I might be crazy but i don't think it's dead.

I hope we put up a fight right until the end. Stranger things have happened in football.

I still think city will win the league but I still expect Newcastle to have some kind of blip.

Despite the injurys we have, we have improved over our last two games and we have added quality to the team and we are getting first team players back, notably Reece James.

It can be done.

Its a tall order from the position we're in, is James close to a return?  He makes such a difference.  I'm excited about our signings.........however I was excited when we signed a lot of our more recent signings and they haven't done too well.  I hope we are bucking the trend!

Against normal pool back 5 is an interesting option, but who knows who will play for pool.

Unlike Felix who played  1 week before his debut, murdyk last game is kinda a while ago. So at best, murdyk will probably on the bench

We didn’t play in mid week. They are in same points as us despite not having many injuries.

We’re a better team than them this season… With less injuries we’d be above them easily. What’s their excuse?

Injuries as well and losing mane.

And yeah we have double the amount of injuries. 

But they lost also half of a squad, all important players to them. 

Currently injured:

Van Dijk. Liverpool with or without v Dijk in form is a massive difference!

Luis Diaz (prob their best play this season and replacement for mane)

Darwin Nunez. I guess this one should help them to get more points.

Diogo Jota. Been crucial for them up front.

Bobby Frimino. There goes their last central forward.

Arthur Melo. No stress Liverpool, you still got Gamps Hendoooo 

All will be well, because we will warm up in a Year of the Rabbit shirt.

I agree

It's a tall order but if we find some form I think we can climb up the table quite quickly. Especially considering the sides above us, many of whom you'd back an in-form/fully-fit Chelsea side to dispatch.
If we win our game in hand we're 2pts behind Spurs, and as we've seen this past week, the top 4 (bar maybe Arsenal) are all capable of dropping points. So never say never.

Disclaimer: If we finish 8th, 9th, 10th or whatever I'm not going to be mad, we've brought in a lot of players and we've had loads of injury issues, so maybe mentally we might need a pre-season and a clean slate. But I don't see any harm in holding on to some belief that we can make a decent fist of this season still.

Would like to see mudryk start this one. If we can get a win here, there’s still an outside chance of top 4.

Massive yes ……. Go above the dippers, Fulham and 2 points behind Spertz would be a great spring board for the rest of the season 

however getting used to disappointment but always live in hope ! It’s as big for the dippers as it is for us 🙄
