Tale of two halves. Not sure what the instructions were at half time?

We are not direct enough, too many touches , over complicating good positions

Felix sublime first half

Badiashile again looked good

Rice would look good in a Chelsea shirt, did the simple things good and tracked back well to intercept the break in the first half

Havertz still flatters and the wingers faded second half

How was that not a penalty?

Not at all, he sucks.

Havertz did  ok. Mudryk should have stayed on. Ziyech doesn’t get on if I’m managing.

When Havertz gets in his usual do f**k all and foul stage, time to take him off.

There were a lot of positives from that match so it isn’t all doom and gloom yet. Work in progress. Team still needs to gel, players gain sharpness, players return from injury, etc.

Of course not, he left Brighton for another PL team when the season had already started. He won't be liked. If Tuchel or Mourinho would have won most games in the start of a season just to f**k off to Real Madrid the second they came calling, they wouldn't be popular characters here either.

If you read their forums from before GP left, there general take was "we're playing the best football in the PL" etc.

Suggest you take your argument to the Brighton forums if you aren't happy with what they think now ... I am merely the messenger !

Kepa - 7 - Another solid game.

Cucurella - 3 - No chemistry with the team, erratic, plays it too safe, poor defensively.

Badiashile - 6 - Got himself booked after getting too tight, other than that, he was decent again.

Silva - 6 - Defensively sound as usual, held on to the ball for too long at times though.

James - 5 - Well off his game in the first half, picked up a bit in the 2nd, but still nowhere near his best yet.

Loftus-Cheek - 7 - Not a display that will be eye catching, but he did the dirty work which gave freedom to Enzo and Felix.

Enzo - 7 - Good first half, excellent assist for Felix, dropped off a bit in the 2nd half though (seems to be common theme with players under Potter)

Felix - 7 - Same as Enzo, good first half, good goal, dropped off in the 2nd half.

Mudryk - 6 - Some nice moments in the first half, but is getting killed by Potter's tactics. He's a direct player playing in a system that kills direct football.

Madueke - 4 - Busy, but never looks like he is in control of the ball.

Havertz - 4 - Offside too many times, killed a lot of our momentum at times with his loose touches and passing.

Subs:

Chilwell - 7 - An immediate impact off the bench, especially going forward. An instant upgrade on Cucurella. Lack of match fitness was evident though.

Ziyech - 2 - Horrible, don't know what Potter was thinking bringing him on. Killed every attack he was involved in.

Mount - 5 - Had a few decent moments, but not involved enough after coming on.

Gallagher - 3 - The type of player where a coach says "you have a lot of heart" because that is all he seems to have in a Chelsea shirt. There isn't anywhere near enough quality from him.
