He has all the tools to be successful. Looks a class player. We probably overpaid at this stage in his career, time will tell if he goes onto fulfill his potential.

TBF not everyone wants to join he finished article. There are actually a lot of players that join teams wanting to be the ones that make the difference to turn them into a good team because if they are able to do it people will see them as a better player than joining a team that's already good.

A fair point, but neither of those sides are the finished article, they are just a LOT further along than we are.

That said, I believe Palmer wanted to leave and Pep has always said he doesn't want players who don't want to play for us, so maybe he wanted to keep him? (I'll gloss over the double-standards in respect of Bernardo Silva).

because Silva is actually good and others are trash, the one he let go - Sterling, Jesus,  Zinchenko, Laporte, Palmer, are all easily replaced by better players

So your claiming Palmer is trash now, really? What a ridiculous claim that is for a young player thats only starting his career.

Also Sterling is trash too?

Was actually pretty good when he came on.

It looked like something was either going to come from him or Enzo.

I want to see him start at the #10 next game.

No, no, Chilwell needs to play. Mudyrk and Madueke aren't footballers. 

This kid could be to city what Salah and KDB were to us, a huge regret, the one that got away (two in our case), fingers crossed he proves Pep and city wrong.

Honestly dont get the point of signing him if Gallagher keeps on getting shoehorned into the midfield. Playing up ahead of enzo and caicedo as a 10 will bring a much better balance to our midfield. 

He may already be the best player in the squad for picking out a pass in attacking areas. 

Kinda shocked City let him go he may well a turn out to be a steal for the price we got him.

The difference having him on that side compared to Sterling.

He also has a calmness on the ball that is refreshing to see, especially for a young player

Indeed. Very promising. There is a LOT of promising young talent that has been brought in to add to our own in Colwill, James, Gallagher, Broja etc.

Finally we have somewhat of a playmaker, 4 years after hazard left.

What I love about him is his calmness, vision and ofcourse the workrate. Coz of the height, his dribbling wont be as beautiful, but he seems to be slowly building that chemistry with his teammates. If there are no more injuries, by December, we will be scoring lot more and Palmer will be the architect.

I think he already is !! When you have a look at other players being traded at around £45m, Palmer is an absolute steal !!

Good performance, there is a lot of quality in his play.

Interesting to see if he will keep his place or Jackson and Sterling will back.

Honestly, he deserves to stay.
