Beating Fulham was good, first half was promising and Palmer was good but the real tests are going to come later in October and November. That's when we get to prove if we are a good side again or not.

Very underwhelming player that makes a 7 out of 10 performance seem like a 10 out of 10 because we were so desperate for him to do well.
October 3, 20232 yr i like to post the highlights from individual players, hopefully it isn't taken down

October 3, 20232 yr Our most unexpected signing could prove to be one of the best. To be fair I did not follow Cole Palmer that close and I do not know what his natural position is - winger or a no. 10. Nevertheless he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet from now on and it is not even a debate. Such a clever player and his weight of pass is superb.

Thought he was brilliant last night - what a breath of fresh air. The way he received the ball in tight spaces but turned his opponent and then made accurate forward passes, is exactly what we have been missing. Hard to question Pep but it seems utter madness to sell this lad to us and take Kovacic who couldn't do the sort of things Palmer did last night if he tried. Brighton may have mugged us a few times but looks like we have mugged City on this occasion!

Seems like it'll end up being a good deal for both clubs.
October 3, 20232 yr Played exceptionally last night, knows how to pick a pass. I’m also impressed with his work rate without the ball, closing down space and passing lanes.

He needs goals to be gifted to him. worst thing for his Chelsea career was scoring in that final as he, like others in the squad, retired from football after winning it. Im getting to the stage where I think Reece James has retired from football, best right back ive seen in donkeys but pointless keeping him at the club because he's rarely been fit since the final.
October 3, 20232 yr Love how effective he was at RW. Playing through the channels and can provide support out wide as well. Some of his passing were very precise. Hope he starts again at the weekend.
October 3, 20232 yr He is our player of the season so far as far as I am concerned ... fair enough these videos show players "best bits" ..... to think we effectively "swapped" him for Kova, best bit of business we done, Pepe must be gutted.

Oh and by the way, can anyone tell me of one decent game that Havertz had for Chelsea AFTER scoring the CL winner ??? I will wait..........................................................................................................................

October 7, 20232 yr Sold Mount for 60m and bought Palmer in for 40m who is quite literally 10x the player. Fun Fact: Cole Palmer in his first 3 chelsea games is only 2 open play assists away from equalling Mount's all time tally at chelsea for all seasons
October 7, 20232 yr Has secured himself a spot in the default starting XI almost effortlessly. A great contrasting set of abilities to Sterling, Sure is ugly though
October 7, 20232 yr We definitely look more balance with this guy on the right. When James is back and fit, we'll be looking even better. Hopefully this means we're looking at Palmer & Madueke competing on the right, with Sterling and Mudryk competing on the left.
