Extra cover for the right back would be one change he could make. But he never did that, he just took of Gusto for Disasi and left things alone tactically.

Disasi is the only CB that could cover the RB position and you probably missed the fact that Gallagher changed sides and was on the right side trying to help out once the changes were made, Pochettino literally couldn't do anything else there.

Jackson needs to leave, he's terrible and his attitude stinks. Yet another case of conceding right after the manager makes a chance. how many times does he need to get it into his thick skull that you don't make late defensive changes?

The lack of a handball penalty was just comical. Just what you'd expect by a ref who'd been paid huge amounts of money by City's owners.

Man .. should have buried them in the first half.. so poor from Jackson, poch tactically got it wrong too..

got robbed of a penalty and we just choked everytime we were in the danger of scoring.

When Enzo plays, we lose. It’s what happens.

No, if Palmer doesn't score, we lose, or draw. Putting the blame on Enzo is just using him as a scapegoat. Who was the player that messed up 3 easy chances? That is where the blame lies.

Wtf was that free kick from Mudryk

Mudryk is only good for running. Nothing else. It is down to manager to ban him from taking any corners or free kicks or God forbid penalties.

They put in Doku, he makes the difference, we put on Mudryk and he does nothing at all.

I struggle to see which tactical change could Poch actually make, is James on the bench and ready to step in when Gusto can't continue?

It has nothing to do with personnel. He can overload the right side of the pitch and give city less space and time forcing them to play back into the centre. Instead, he makes like to like substitutions and keeps the same tactics and Doku continues to over run the right side. This unfortunately is the difference between title winning manager and one who isnt.

This has to be one of the worst Chelsea teams in front of goal that I can ever recall. They are absolutely abysmal. Despite getting into the positions I still maintain that Jackson is a league one footballer at best. Clarke Harris from Peterborough is a better finisher than Jackson.

Because he didn't respond to Doku changing the game when he came on which ultimately led to the goal. Up until that point he set up a good team but moments like those are what decide games.

Pep is a better manager. You don't expect them to both have same impact from the bench in game. Gusto was forced off and also city didn't win because they were brilliant. If Petrovic played the ball to the left where Mudryk was calling that chance never develops.

But let's forget all that, I know I have backed Jackson and continue will do so because I think he is young and still developing, but he could have score or had a hand in at least 2 goals in first half.

Poch got it right. His strength is not in game changes but imagine Harry Kane rather than Jackson, do you not think game is won in first half and a couple more insurance goals in 2nd before any of Pep's changes?

Auto correct error

Disappointing we played better than against LIverpool yet not good enough on the day, did not take our chances and they took one late on.

Did not like Gallagher wide on the left, not sure if this was tactical or just part of fitting Enzo in.

If we had a competent centre forward we win today. Jackson is not that player.

Back in the day every competent attacking player from a winger to a striker used to actually spend the time at training playing 1v1 across the whole pitch. That was it, play 1v1 and the whole pitch and score.

Jackson today got lucky for not getting a yellow after stumbling on the grass, couldn't pass a freaking Walker that is way passed his prime!

Can someone handle the MOTM thread please? I’m at the pub and my phone is about to die.

Bottler of the Match (Ploks is too pissed to do this)

I disagree, i think we managed to creat some serious damage with our passing in attacking areas today, the problem is that we didn't finish those chances the right way, specially Jackson.

I disagree with that, we do create chances but have a lot that don’t even turn into chances because of the wrong choice.

Watch the Chilwell run when you get the chance and you’ll see what I mean, how as he not squared it to Sterling instead of taking that extra touch.

And the excuse that he's a winger not a striker just doesn't wash. He is still a forward player with no spatial awareness,  limited ability and fking abysmal decision making

I've been defending him but he's been diabolical finishing today

I said he would be the death of this team and Potch...you cannot keeping missing chance after chance in games like this..we should won this game with the gilt edge chances created for him,; can't dribble, doesn't know his left from his right and trips over his own two feet...get rid

Stop it, Gallagher literally rotated from the left side to the right in order to balance it out. Also Palmer was supposed to be our own difference maker on that side but surprise surprise, when Enzo plays centrally there is no space for Palmer to shine, no wonder our biggest win came when Enzo wasn't even playing.
