April 23, 20242 yr Missed the game due to work but absolutely numb to the result. Have been since the Wolves home game sadly. I don’t like this at all. Club needs major change and I’d start with the manager. I’ve already fired him 5 times this season.

Very insightful and very promising, filled me with all confidence that all issues are clearly understood and will be taken care of. Cant wait till we school Villa away. I used to be refreshing YouTube for Mourinho interview to be uploaded just hanging on his words was part of the entertainment, after 5 pressers I’ve never watched this wally once
April 23, 20242 yr Predictable result, strange selection maybe he's saving some of our stronger players for the Villa game...

You forgot to mention the timeless "we need to assept". The equivalent of Potter's "the boys gave everything".

April 24, 20242 yr I think most of us knew what was coming when we saw the starting defense that was picked. The same 2 CB's played in that awful display against Sheffield United so it was hardly surprising we would get steamrollered against much better opposition. I can only assume that Poch is hoping to get shown the door based on the way we set up for this game. Truely inept showing.

April 24, 20242 yr Looks like Fat dimmbass is screwing it up purposely so he can take taxi with fat paycheck. Asshole is destroying his future career. I hope he is finished after this job. 😡😡😡

April 24, 20242 yr Just saw that promotion-chasing Southampton also got thumped 5-0 at Leicester as well last night ... if they'd won that game they would have been right in the mix for the 2nd automatic spot. Bad results happen in football. It was unfortunate that ours was against a London rival like Arsenal. I imagine the Southampton fans are hugely disappointed, but it would be so much worse for them if they'd lost 5-0 to Portsmouth. At least our owners and DoFs got a strong message last night that several of their purchases are currently (and probably always will be) way off the standards required.

I think the Saints 5-0 was a shock. Our 5-0 was no shock and could have been predicted by most. We put out that same side last night against Villa and Spurs and we're probably looking at two more 5-0's.

Why on earth would you give Gilchrist his first start against highest scoring team in league? It can’t have done his confidence any good. He’s an awful manager and he deserved to be sacked at least 5 times this season. This is genuinely the first time ever as a supporter I’m contemplating on wether to watch any more games this season. Every game has been a misery to watch, even during the 8 unbeaten run we still were frustrating to watch.

Not only that but he changes the centre backs from pairing who has conceded 1 goal in 2 games (and that was against Man City) to a pairing who had looked like rabbits in the headlights every time they played together. These baffling decisions are part and parcel of life under Poch - whether he's playing Chilwell left wing, Gallagher as 10, Colwill left back, Maatsen at ring wing or just the general chopping and changing all the time. We could all see the disaster awaiting us against Arsenal once the line up was announced - how could Poch possibly not have seen it?
April 24, 20242 yr I do agree with Younes last night. One of the few positives to gain from last night is that surely this result and performance, above anything else this season, must have finally totally united the fan base. Universally we must all see that there is no coming back from this for Poch. We can talk about injuries, fatigue, age, experience. We can do all that, we have had it all season. But he constructed a team, using players that he mainly has used for most of the season, and went out genuinely thinking it was sufficient to compete. Any manager, in the post this length of time, would have gone into this game with a better approach and strategy than Poch. Even if we'd intentionally parked the bus, it would have been frustrating and would have caused debate. But there would have been arguments for and against. Going into this game with that line up, those changes and that in game management is, frankly, reprehensible.
