Hazard was super strong so you need to hack him. The big question with estevao is once pl defender who is faster and stronger than Brazilian league defender put their hand on him can he still execute the same move.

South America is home to some of the biggest sh*tehousery you’ve ever seen. Neymar did relatively well his first season IIRC and the following season you could tell he bulked up a lot.

Agreed. The Brazilian defenders can be brutal so I expect him to pick himself up when fouled.

The pace of EPL defenders will be a much bigger test for him.

You would hope they aren’t that crazy but a Quick Look shows he has appreciated to €50m from the €34m they paid for him, and they have been very vocal about how Andrey Santos has doubled his value within a year.

Common sense approach would be to integrate Petrovic, Santos & Estevao, buy a World Class CB, goal scoring LW, and a quality No 9.

The key term there being ‘common sense’ which I think is glaringly obvious the SD’s don’t have.

Having him as an isolated touchline winger isn’t going to work. Clear he needs more freedom to work in the channels.

What a legend. He's already trolling Arsenal before he's officially crossed over to us.

He'll be a fan favourite in no time.

Its hard to be anything but excited about his arrival. Yes he is young, PL is high quality opposition, better defenders, less space, more physical - could go on. Good players find a way. His second goal from his most recent match is a beaut - all happens so quickly.

Also enjoyed a fan comment on YouTube. Take with a grain of salt, but nice to read such positivity:

Another goal and assist in his final home game for Palmeiras. Can't wait to watch him at Fifa CWC, and for him to join Chelsea. It will be a massive step, and am hopeful with players like Santos back in the mix it helps them settle.

If he's as good as everyone thinks he is, he'll be at Barcelona or Real Madrid in a couple of years. They all end up there.
