When he sort of stumbled over the ball as he took it past the keeper I thought f**k me he's done it again, great goal in the end though and overall put in a good performance.

I'll leave any negatives for another day, today is about Chelsea - dual champions of Europe

Was bricking it when he rounded the keeper, looked like he had messed it up. Was a good goal though, much needed one too.

Soon as I saw the defender running back, I shouted "f**k sake Torres", then he buried it!

Reminded me very much of his goal against Barca.

Great moment for him, after last season he said he felt he hadn't contributed to the success- well his goals against Steaua, Rubin, Basel and tonight proved key and he'll enjoy this victory.

I've been very indifferent with Torres when he delivers the goods, like I imagine many others have been.

Regardless of what we think of him, and however headbanging and inconsistent he's been. Nando is now in our history books (the Europa goals and not to mention the Barca goal) ,thank you Fernando. I appreciate it.

it's been tough watching Torres this season but to be fair he has put in a stint in the European games particularly.  Tonight's goal was pure Torres, great to see.  Next season we should maybe play him in Europe and use Lukaku / Ba / Cavani in the Premier League 

He played well in the second half and scored a quality goal, tbh based on performances in this tournament if anyone deserved to score in the final it was him
