Its so frustrating we have such a talented player,fast,quick feet,but most of his job is to cover for a CB playin RB, playing for mourinho really does hinder you,

Has been by far our best player this season, has really kicked on lately.

Was one of his harshest critics the last 2 years, but fair play he's been very good this season and has really upped his game. Shame it had to come at a time when everyone around him went in the opposite direction!

Yep, last season, one of the only things i would have liked to have seen more of was end product from Willian, we are getting it now though. Like you say, it's a shame it's happening now when everyone else is playing so poor.

 

EDIT: Actually, it's not a shame, it's fantastic. Without him, we really would be buggered.

Stood up when others have stalled.

He's starting to look like a 30 million pound player.

He's no longer an average footballer just run the miles anymore, great to prove doubters ( myself included) this season!

Almost wish Blue daze was around to see his take on Oscar v Willian now.

 

 

 

I love Willian but I have to admit now his days at the Bridge are numbered.

The old football adage that a really great player shows his class when those alongside him are consistently struggling has never been proved truer than Willian is proving it now. Week in, week out.

May not have the tricks and tinsel that Hazard sometimes has when he is in the mood but so what.

POTY already IMO.

I have never been a big fan of the guy because he didnt create enough chances. Now that he is hats off to him. He saved us again

I admired Willian's efforts before this season, but he never seemed to stand out among his more talented peers...but I've got to say...this season he's been superb.

 

It's not that his general play has been much better (I don't think it has)...his free kicks have certainly been something else. The important thing is...he seems to be playing with passion...passion not many others can seem to muster. His performances have been one of very limited bright spots in a season from hell.

Fantastic player, the type that can inspire his teammates with his attitude. His ceiling is even higher than that so I hope we see more progress in some aspects of his game, he has everything in this form but what impresses me the most is how he responds to competition, the moment a player threatens his place, he just plays them out of the team.

Willian is one of our most underrated players. Obviously, he has his flaws but he's one of the few guys whose form is consistent nearly every week.

 

One thing that separates him from the likes of Hazard is his heart. Even when things aren't looking good, he'd still try his best to contribute to our team play. 

 

The effort he put in every week is what impressed me the most about him and I'm delighted that he's being rewarded with goals and assists this season for that.

 

At this rate, he's a shoe-in for our POTY. Here's hoping there's more to come from him.

Always had the ability.

 

Been frustrating in the past as we know he can do more, but he finally beating his man and spinning in behind. All down to confidence, he isnt worried about losing the ball anymore.

Really adding end product to his game is season. Fantastic to watch at times.

Honestly the amount of people admitting they didn't rate Willian very highly. Aww you guys

Credit must be given where it dues, certainly step up this season.. can't wait till his teammates join him..
