May 7, 20197 yr I just hope we won't loan him to a club who will struggle to score because of their team quality. His season with Swansea should be forgotten, it was too difficult. Keep him with us, or give him a chance with a club like Everton.

May 7, 20197 yr If Sarri stays he will make this decision on Tammy, and mot likely if there's no transfer ban this upcoming window Sarri will vote to keep/ acquire the burro Higuain and Tammy will leave on loan again or be sold to Villa if they get promoted.
May 8, 20197 yr I'd like to see what his hold up play is like. There were two clips at the end of the video which showed assists, but it would be interesting to see what he's like outside the opposition box... As great as it is to see him banging in goals like that, I can't see him doing the same under Sarri's Chelsea. Simply won't be enough service.

We can't sign Higuain if the ban is upheld after CAS hearing. So there is a silver lining. Same goes with Kovacic.
May 8, 20197 yr Most of his goals seem to come from high crosses into the box and from scrappy tap-ins after shots. The former of which we never do, all our crosses are awful, so he'd be reduced to trying to create something for himself, which I'm not sure he can,.

Excellent at that. We weren't able to use him.

May 9, 20197 yr I like his movement. positioning, and his anticipation. plus he seems to be a confident lad based on attitude, body language etc. The only thing holding him back is that we can't spend £50M+ on signing him ...
May 9, 20197 yr Boy deserves a chance at being second choice/sub striker. We need a complete overhaul at centre forward. Get rid of all the ones we have and get Icardi/Jovic or someone of that ilk and rotate them with Abraham. No need for these 30+ strikers whose best days are behind them. On another note, John McGinn could be one to watch if Villa get promoted, I would very surprised if he’s not at a top side in the next 2 years or so.

Lol if he was owned by Villa and signed for even £10m this place would explode wi people slating the club.

Alternatively, if he was on loan from City, there would be people saying he’s the future of English football and what a prospect he is and none of our loan army can do that. Yet because he’s ours, it’s no big deal and he’s not good enough. There was about 3/4 times the ball came off the keeper in and around the 6 yard box last night. Abraham smashes those chances in. Perfectly capable of being our back up striker and he’d hit at least double figures if he was
May 10, 20197 yr 48 goals in 78 Championship appearances ... certainly knows where the goal is, and for me that means he deserves an extended chance to see if he can replicate that form in the PL.

May 11, 20197 yr Just put Villa 2-1 up in the play offs from the spot, ice cold delivery as well Edited May 11, 20197 yr by Ballack & Blu
May 14, 20197 yr Hasn't really made a mark today. Fell funny on his shoulder too, might have popped it a little. He came back in though.
