I wanted Lukaku over Morata but now that we have our main CF for next year and its Morata, I'm 100% behind him and I reckon he'll be a huge hit for us.

I think he'll be Spains starting CF at the WC too, as long as hes not injured, I loved Diego but his antics this summer and 2 summers ago, as well as always wanting out of Chelsea and back to Madrid, has made me just think "meh" when he does finally leave. I'd thank him for his 50+ goals and 2 league titles but dont leave the door hit ya on the way out.

I work in Liverpool, and you would find it hard to meet an everton fan that actually liked him as a player tbh. Many said he was lazy, had a massive ego, and was sick of him constantly saying he wanted to move elsewhere.

Alot of bitterness on Merseyside though so it's hard to take any of them serious!

As good as, if they can have odds on potential transfers then they should have Morata in this list, surely?

A colleague of mine is an Everton ST holder and she and all the other fans she knows couldn't wait to be shot of him.  She thought they had overpaid for him from us.  And she can't wait to see the back of Barkley now.

Great to see the excitement that the Morata transfer has generated. Should be a very good PL next season with the firepower - old and new - that's going to be on display.

Feel this guy is just waiting to explode onto the scene and announce himself. He has all the tools to be a world class striker, fast, powerful, technical, clinical. He has seriously impressive acceleration for a big guy 

 

I remember there were a few doubts about when Torres first signed for Liverpool, he was obviously talented but didn't have the great goal scoring record to back it up. In his two previous seasons at Athletico he manged 27 goals in 80 appearances. Goes to Liverpool and scores 33 goals in 46 games and announces himself as one of the elite forwards in the world

 

Feel Morata is going to have a similar impact

 

 

Brilliant signing, always wanted him instead of Lukaku far superior footballer and at 24 will only improve, he has a bit of everything and will be interesting to see how he does now he has the platform to be the main man.

That's  true, that's why they want mbappe by the time he is ready to start for them he will be their new star man not ronaldos sidekick, and Ronnie will be ready to retire and have some surrogate grand kids, morata is hungry to start now and he wants to be a proper CF not a benzema backup dancer type player.

Thanks. Yeah I thought he'd be around that price, around 4th/5th favourite for the golden boot. As much as I hate to say it I think if Kane stays injury free he's got it in the bag again this season.

I was one of the us in the lukaku camp. But we could have done a lot worse. 

The guy will have a point to prove and fully expect him to hit the ground running. I can see us playing some lovely football next year.

So is his medical tomorrow?
