good to see utd rejected. them and city just want to go out and splash the cash so there's no competition for the rest of the league. it's great we've spent 1/3 of what pogba cost and got an established prem player who fits into our midfield perfectly.

Sounds like Utd left it too late. Well done Chelsea for getting business done nice and early, signing of the season and probably many years to come.

Thought it'd be hard to like this guy even more but fact he basically told Mourinho to do one cos he'd already decided to join chelsea makes him even more of a legend...said it before, think he's a better buy and far more value for money than Pogba

Kante is a great player, but I'm not sure why Chelsea fans are insistent on comparing him to Pogba who is an attacking midfielder??

I think Kante is the real important player for Leicester City. They're not the same without him.

I agree with this, their replacements haven't exactly been convincing. Losing Kanté is basically the worst thing that could have happened to them (although Mahrez has been awful so far).

Andy King is a completely different type of midfielder and Amartey was really good against Swansea but shocking against Liverpool.

Mendy is quite a different midfielder as well, far less of a physical presence but a very tidy passer. He [understandably considering it was his first competitive game in English football] didn't look comfortable against Arsenal and then went off injured after an hour.

Kante is just a fantastic little footballer. Our engine room is purring with the wee fella at the helm.

Am i the only one slightly offended by his showing yesterday? Take 3-0 for example, Ozil turns him and runs into loads of space. But instead of sprinting as fast as you can Kante is literally just jogging behind him letting Ozil and Sanchez have a go at Cahill and Luiz and scoring the goal. Watch it again, its horrible.

Yeah, he was shocking yesterday. I don't know if it was laziness, or tiredness because he wans't getting much help, but watching him jog around while Arsenal ran rings around us was painful.

He probably couldnt be bothered to carry out 5 other players jobs after seeing the rubbish served up by Cahill and Ivan in the first 15 minutes.

I didn't watch leicester much so I didn't really know about him but after witnessing him in chelsea shirt, He's real quality as a DM, no doubt about that but somebody needs to guide him well otherwise he's going asthray and he started to play like that in the last 2 games..

 

I just want him be a sitting defensive midfielder, no need to join the attack that would make him out of position thus making our defence exposed..

Have been disappointed last couple, needs to add a string or two to his bow for mine.  If only he had a decent shot from range, pops up in great attacking positions sometimes.

I think he was knackered. You should be more offended by Ivanovic at the top right of the screen, embarrassing.

Ivanovic might have been at fault for something, i didn't see that but Kante gave them that goal.

Kante was up and down all game although he was very poor as well.
