It seemed like his muscle is probably stress in his muscle. 

Any updates on him? 

Was really good today. Nobody talks about the price paid for him, but for £34m we got a steal considering Liverpool paid £75m for Van Dijk. No way is VVD twice the play that Rudiger is, even though people consider VVD one of, if not the best central defender in the PL. He's been very good for us since he signed.

Our panzer will never get any credit near those pool defenders get........such is the state of Eng media. But man what a quality defender.

The way he dealt with Antonio (one of the fastest and strongest attacking players in the league) in that one on one situation was class. What a player.

maybe we will get lucky & have Der Panzer in the home match vs the dirty red scousers

It sounds like purely muscle fatigue if he will be back in a few days (linked to two games in 4 days? Very likely)

He has had an excellent start to the season but feel we can help him even more by rotating him with Ampadu/Christensen/Cahill for these early season Europa League matches.

So far this season he's been one of the best CBs in the league. Long may it continue.

 

has to be rested Wednesday and back for the game saturday. awesome defender!

Fast becoming one of my favourite Chelsea players. Hope he stays long term and becomes a legend.

Him and Van Dijk are the best two CB's in the league in my opinion. They are both quality defenders and they are both good on the ball too.

Desperate for him to be fit saturday. Without his pace I can see us struggling badly against the speed of Liverpool’s counter attacks. 

I imagine there hasn't been any updates regarding his health yet since there is a presser tomorrow. Hopefully he is fit

Couldn't agree more with Rudi! Glad he's spoken about it.

Couldn't agree more with Rudi! Glad he's spoken about it. 

He is right, but giroud is not a goal scorer and morata and Willian are just useless.

Willian has goals in him, yes I think he has been disappointing in his last 3 games, the West Ham game especially but he can score goals. 

Calling Willian useless is unfair, Morata I'll give you it, because he has been absolutely useless this season. We should have signed another attacker before the window shut, we need someone else up there with Hazard.

Willian scores a few goals, but are those goals difference makers? Or are they gloss goals like his strike against Cardiff? Where was his winner against west ham? Or liverpool? When does he win us games? Pedro can, hazard certainly does. Does Willian?

We need players to win us games, not just pad their stats with goals that pad a victory.

I don't Willian stat pads with his goals... His problem is that he scores way to infrequently in general. That in five years he's not once broken into double figures for goals scored is shocking for an attacking player who gets so much game time and is allowed to take so many free-kicks.

This guy is definitely Captain material absolutely 100%

I don't think Der Panzer is getting enough credit for this play & I want Rudi get his respect for this play - he stopped a certain goal

Broke his neck? That was a gentle jog for Rudi. I love this bloke, he’s one of the best things about last season. 

He is our Captain right now. 

Any update on that injury he took right at the end? Was really worried about that.
