Germany are seriously well stocked as it is but Rudiger is more than capable of going to the WC and playing for them.

If they go 3 CBs and 2 WBs, it will probably be Rudiger Sule Hummels flanked by Kimmich and Hector, which is a seriously formidable back line.

No need to duck for cover, most would agree with you. I would even go as far as to say he has been our only top class signing. The rest have either been mediocre or bad. Giroud of all people is probably our second best signing this season, that shows just how poor our transfer business has been this season.

Not surprising looking at the list of crap we've bought.  Rudiger tried to join that list in the game against the terriers when he f**ked up for their goal, he was all over the shop.

He looks like absolute class, he was a wonderful signing.

Wasn't sure about rudiger in the summer, but he is going to be a mainstay in this side for next 5-10 years.

Played very well today. Needs just a bit of consistency to become a top top player.

He was an absolute monster today, and if he continues like that Hazard stays so it’s a win-win

I thought he WAS consistent. Next to Kante, i think he's been our most consistent player this season.

He's turning out to be a real positive character and defender of substance. Just the sort of personality the squad needs; as his confidence and influence grows he'll only get better.

Already one of my favourite Chelsea players. Top man!!! 

Rudiger seems like a proper personality.

Very, very poor.
Him and Luiz is a horrible CB pairing. Both of them have regular lapses of concentration and neither are good at following runs.

Which obviously is a recipe for disaster when we play a high line. I lost count in the end how many times they let City's attackers run in behind them while onside.

Luiz in a back two, yeah wtf, but Sarri gotta learn the hard way on some things.

And Rudiger wass terrible today, but i hope he can sharpen up quickly.
