Hold the phone here. If I'm not mistaken you are one of the people that turned on that post/poster after he said what he said. You can't just walk around telling spuds to go to concentration camps when you know their aura is that of Jewish heritage.  it was a terrible comment and even tho there's free speech, this is a message board you've got to answer to the community/mods.

Its not that it even truly bothered me, it was just disrespectful.  Not to spurs, but Jews.

but seriously back on topic, f**k the spurs :)

I think he was trying to make a point that we're not all anti-semites.

Just got home and watched the game...a fantastic result given the massive depth of our squad, certainly one I never expected, a true grit performance.  However a few things that did stick out...I thought Rudiger had a poor game overall, not sure of he has played on the left side a lot but he looked out of sorts, I sure he needs to settle in and hopefully we will see a big improvement.   I thought Willian played half hearted when he lost the ball and somewhat disinterested at times until he saw Pedro stood on the sidelines, then decided he wanted to play. Passing was awful at times, perhaps because of Spurs pressing high up the the pitch but we were still sloppy regardless......Dier should have gone off for that tackle...no less a tackle than Cahill's so why did he only receive a yellow?

Listening to Alonso it sounds like the squad is together and that is a positive....now we just a couple of more signings and we'll be back on track...and Conte seems to have got his mojo back.

I think he's quality. I get Sandro is class but why waste the cash when we have Alonso. Massively underrated.

Alonso's got a wand of a left foot, is technically sound but is devoid of pace. In this type of game, it isn't too much of an issue but, when teams sit back and counter against us, as we did with Spurs, you need wing backs with foot. Sandro has that in abundance.

You're dead right about Willian but I don't agree with you on Rudiger.

I can't tell sometimes. I need to contextualize better. No harm meant, @DonAntonio! But may I suggest a few periods?  It helps break up thought better than commas.  Maybe I am getting too old....:)

Haven't read thread since KO, 19 hr flight & drive LA to Golfito CR, m8s match update txts came in as I drove !! Just seen highlights, Alonso is back so is Conte, lovely jubbly to beat the lillywhitless

Great result yesterday still buzzing. So good to put the Deluded Spuds in their place. Wembley is gonna be a big negative for them Spurs w**kers and I believe it's say to say 58 now at the end of this season it will be 58 years since that little club have been Champions long may it continue. This will mean that Dele and Harry the Gooner will leave next summer,Poch will more than likely quit tooand a few others,Tottenham have peaked they are on the way down.

With a few signings we are going for another title.

Here's what's funny, someone made a gas chamber comment or whatever it was and not only the whole forum turned on him but he was banned immediately, they are f**king sour, salty serial losers, from a sh*t part of London and moaning is just part of who they are, they have to play the victim to get by in life, why the f**k would you support tottenham, it's beyond me, are they even Jews? My old man had a garage in stamford hill (sh*t hole) there and towards stoke newington (sh*t hole)  has orthodox jews but I'm talking the whole michael jackson black fedora and long black coat jews, not the football game going type, the only non orthodox jewish areas I know in London are no where near there, you are talking  Golders green (mixed orthodox and non) , Mill Hill, Stanmore, those areas, today tottenham is turkish, kurdish and black if anything so f**king get over it, 90 percent of their fans arent jewish so why play the f**king victims all the time, even to the point of making up stories, f**king hate North london and f**king hate the spuds.

Harsh on Stoke Newington.  In and around that Church St area is quite alright these days IMO.

I am so happy that I was wrong. I was extremely pessimistic on this one. I AM TRULY DELIGHTED!

Spuds v The Blues at Wembley = Arse v The Blues. How strange is that!

That we scored all the goals in the game! Ha, ha, ha! 3 points and a great lift for the poor start of the season.

Mind you, we still lack depth and this will surely show later on in the season.

Watching sky's coverage now and gary Neville is a complete contrast, praising us to the hilt...

Neville is always a good analyst.

He won quite a few trophies too, unlike JJ

On the back of a fantastic performance it would be a shame for Christensen to be dropped to the bench...I genuinely think that Cahill's berth is up for grabs with both Rudiger and Christensen looking to make it their own...unless VDijk comes in...looking forward to seeing the lineup for the Eversh*te game...especially the midfield...don't think Hazard will feature if nothing else to make sure that the idiot Martinez doesn't cripple him again in the international break...

Cahill's suspended for 2 more games anyway isn't he?

Yes but Luiz will drop back into the centre of defence so that leaves Cahill's position available for either Christensen or Rudiger...and Rudiger is more used to playing there...

Im glad Cahill got that red card because Christensen showed just how much better he is than him. Rudiger was okay but he got better as the game went on and got more comfortable.

im not sure what our ideal starting defence would be with our current squad but I think

Azpi-Rudiger-Luiz-Christensen-Alonso is perfect, with maybe switching Rudiger and Azpi's positions.

Cahill is good for cup games this season, but he should be demoted to the bench. Also, I don't think we need Sandro because of Alonso, but I do certainly think we need some Fullback backups, or at least being back Baba or someone else to cover for Alonso. At RWB we're probably sorted with Moses/Azpi/Rudiger all being able to play there.

Bakayoko was immense and so was Kante as always, and Baka is only going to get better as he settles in and gets fitter, but we are in dire need of a backup, if one of them gets injured or suspended we are f**kED.

as for wingers, we are actually stocked nicely here with Hazard/Pedro/Willian and Moses for backup and Musonda and Boga.

Morata didn't have a great game but its tough to when hes on his own and so isolated, but that problem will definitely be solved once he gets more game time and with Hazard and Pedro back in full form.

very happy with the result! Just hoping Conte keeps the core of the defence the same for the rest of the season because Christensen deserves to be a starter after that performance against arguably the best team in the league

The game had a feel of deja vu & it can't be pure luck that we've beaten the greatest spurs team in history 3 times out of 4 during one of our weaker transitional periods. Still don't understand the argument of "Spurs didnt deserve to lose" absolute BS.

I have grown bored of MOTD, it feels like it's become a very tired and dated show. It comes across cheap, the highlights are terrible and the analysis from the pundits put me to sleep.

Last nights Motd2 was probably the worst i've seen and that's despite us beating the spuds again. How short was our slot ?  Mark Chapman looked as though he wanted to be anywhere but in the studio and a couple of times looked odds on to fall asleep.

Great performance from the team on the pitch today, one which will hopefully shut a few critics up for a while.

Win at Tottenham a start of a great week? Costa to Atletico for 50m, 2 new signings and third on the way.

Would be the perfect week if we now sell Costa and buy a back up CM and WB

Been buzzing all day. Amazing how a victory can bring everyone together. Suddenly the players, manager and fans are all happy and on the same side. Get the feeling this win will be a turning point just like last season's defeat to Arsenal was in really pushing us on. Get in ::ChELSeAFaN::
