He said he is leaving athletico if we beat this ban and sell hazard it’s not that far fetched

Barca activated his release clause. 125m is ridiculous, Griezmann is 28.

Oh I didn’t know that, but if they paid more than that for courtinio not that surprising, what is though is the number being thrown around for hazard is 100 million euros, 89 million pounds.

For what he is and how bad they want him seems like it’s lowball in today’s market, maybe to do with the fact there is only a year left on his contract?

Morata has done an interview and opened up about his time at Chelsea, reasons for leaving on loan and to be honest it's the as self serving and whiny as you would expect from him.

“I didn’t quite feel loved or appreciated by the club or the fans."

“I had a very bad time in London. In the end I was training alone. I talked to Maurizio Sarri and he told me some things that I knew were not going to be as he had said. I was very nervous. My wife was in shock with me."

”I had lost confidence in myself. I was very upset by the opinion of the people in England. I think they caught me in the middle of everything."

"At Chelsea there came a time when my team-mates, except for the Spaniards, well… you know, it is not the same when you play and you know that you give a pass to someone who is not going to do as well. You do not give the pass in the same way”.

Doesn't shoulder any responsibility for his poor form and seems to just blame everyone and everything else.

Still contracted to us and we could technically recall him but let's just hope Atletico trigger his clause and buy him outright so we can be rid of the ungrateful little sh*t.

He really does need to take a look at himself. He seems to have been worrying about the quality of player he was passing to and felt he was giving that pass in a different way because of their poor quality. He has a serious problem if he was thinking along those lines. How did he feel when he was passing to Hazard or Kante? Totally on him.

If we get the £48m option we are doing well.

It was his passing into the goal that was poor quality.

He has managed to put the blame on everyone: the club, the fans, the teammates and the manager. The only party that carries no responsibility for his problems, surprise, surprise, it's Morata himself. Apparently it was them and not the player himself who was failing on the pitch, missing easy chances, falling to the floor at every contact and bitching and moaning to the referees instead of doing the job he was bought for.

Just a weak-minded fragile individual who constantly plays victim, points fingers at others and isn't man enough to admit that he let the team down. Typical cop-out for someone like that. Pathetic clown.

This guy is one of the biggest cry babies we have had at the club

"I never really felt loved or appreciated by the fans"

Mate, from the day you were signed, most of the fanbase was thrilled to have you, and those first few months at the club you had people talking about you being one of the best strikers around. The fans only started getting frustrated when you started showing little effort and was bitching and moaning every time you didn't get a foul. Whenever you missed an easy chance, you would give up, there was no fight. If fans feel that you are not giving your all for the club, then they will turn on you. You can be going through a goal drought or a bit of bad form, but if you're trying your best, then the fans will give you a break.

"I had lost confidence in myself. I was very upset with the opinion of people in England"

Then do something about it instead of whinging like a child.

If Atletico want this cry baby, then they can have him. Even if we take a little bit of a loss on him, I would be fine with that.

Lolwtf, having a mare whilst giving your best I cam forgive. This bs is ridiculous and stinks of having such a poor attitude. Get out of the club and I hope Atletico buys him even at a loss.

We were very supportive a lot longer than most fans would have been.

This is very true.  I was defending the guy well into 2018, after his struggles were already routine.

I am not totally surprised by Morata's comments - seems about right from what I have gleaned of him. It just gives you an insight into the mental attitude and psychology of some players and people in general.

And earlier I was just reading about Memphis Depay and him now shouldering the blame for his poor stint with Manchester United. Shows you how mature the guy has become and just the total opposite of Morata. I wish Memphis well.

Poor move from Morata, he's found his comfort zone and wants to force a move cause next year if it's not Atletico then he's going to have to step down further.

He's got to stop whining, it's down to him next season to prove his worth and make Atletico buy him.
