How many calls did he expect to get from a referee when he created his own bad reputation for going down so easily and then complaining about not getting a call?

How much respect did he expect from his teammates when he was unwilling to put the work in to finish a move his teammates worked so hard to create?

How does he think he'll be received if he has to come back after insulting everything about his Chelsea experience?

I interpreted it more that he was saying that the players weren't passing to him because he was in poor form?

He's doing whatever he could to ensure he's not coming back. It's one thing to leave quietly after failure, complete a jerk move to blame team mates for his own failure.

Morata is so frustrating, he has the ability to be a top striker, the problems are in his head. He continues to demonstrate that with the interview.

I am not convinced A.Madrid will pick up a near 50m option on him following his loan. Seems very odd for him to be burning bridges!

Atletico Madrid ask Chelsea to make Morata's loan permanent immediately

Atletico Madrid want to make Alvaro Morata's loan from Chelsea permanent a year before it expires.

The striker has convinced the coaching staff and the board with his impressive performances leading the line for Los Rojiblancos since joining in January.

Without wanting to pass up the opportunity to secure Morata's future, Atletico have asked Chelsea if they can exercise their option to buy for 55 million euros now, but pay it next year.

This would allow the Spanish club to spend money on other signings this summer

in the hope of bolstering the squad after several departures.

Both clubs and the player believe that the best thing for Morata would be to stay at Atletico, as Chelsea don't think he can be a success in the Premier League.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is currently waiting on a definitive result regarding the club's transfer ban, which has made the return of Morata to London a possibility.

Mate, from the day you were signed, most of the fanbase was thrilled to have you, and those first few months at the club you had people talking about you being one of the best strikers around. The fans only started getting frustrated when you started showing little effort and was bitching and moaning every time you didn't get a foul. Whenever you missed an easy chance, you would give up, there was no fight. If fans feel that you are not giving your all for the club, then they will turn on you. You can be going through a goal drought or a bit of bad form, but if you're trying your best, then the fans will give you a break.

Then do something about it instead of whinging like a child. 

 

If Atletico want this cry baby, then they can have him. Even if we take a little bit of a loss on him, I would be fine with that.

I defended that f**ker for months and months on end when he was making Chris Sutton look like Thierry Henry. 

How can he blame the fans when he was out there missing sitter after sitter? At least with Torres he did play in a team with little creativity for a while where it was difficult for any forward in our team, Morata was getting played in by Hazard almost every week and putting it wide. That Arsenal 2-2 game was almost unforgiveable. 

He can't come back after comments like that?  Imagine we recall him (we'd have a handsome strike force at least), and he get's booed the first time he falls to the floor at the merest of touches?  You'd probably be able to see any semblance of character shatter right there on the pitch.

If we can get teh 55 mill from Atletico, even a year from now (considering the pending ban) then I'd take it.  If the ban is lifted I say we make Atleti pay now

He is nothing more than a show pony.  Looks really good prancing around, but don't ask it to run a race or work hard to pull a cart.

I know they're human beings, but at the end of the day, you're paid ridiculous wages to perform on the big screen, enough attention seeking. 

People will call me callous on this subject but it is what it is, I'll take it, I think some footballers today love playing the victim. 

That's fine, we can't even spend the money this season anyway. I'm sure Morata hasn't hit his targets so the bonuses won't be activated. We'd take a small hit but this is a prime opportunity to get rid.

Hope this is finalised soon. 55m is a decent return of our 65m investment.
