    The future WAS Josh but that's changed and the future is now Mount, Abraham, James, Gilmour, RLC (if he can overcome injuries) and hopefully one or two more..........................

    Jordan Ayew has actually been better than Zaha this season. To me Zaha is another Willian, great pace, can be on fire for 3-4 games then does nothing for a couple of months and he always does the same step over over and over again. I'm really not interested in that !

    I'm not overly concerned about Zaha though think he would improve us just now and would be good for another season should we invest.

    He is a dribbler that can shoot and set up other players unlike our other wide men he is more physical and does not get knocked off the ball.

    I seem to remember him spending plenty of time on the floor earlier at The Bridge when he realised he was never getting past Reece...

    Yes Reece played well against him and there is a shot of that match and Zaha passing inside in the clip I posted.

    Also Reece is built like a boxer unlike most wide backs just now so that is not necessarily a bad sign.

    Of course he's for sale, it's a matter of money and finding replacement or reinforcement for other areas on the pitch. Sancho would be great, most likely we will have to wait another 6 months even if we manage to match their demand. Either the likes of CHO really stepping up, or we will look at alternatives

    Agree. For the amount that's being purported to obtain him, I don't think he would be a serious upgrade for our squad.

    Me neither. If we do sign him then I hope we see him as a squad player, rather than a star signing.

    To be fair on Zaha he’s clearly their best player so obviously he’ll be singled out by opposition. Will be interesting to see how he does for a top team when he’s not marked out of the game.

    I’d take Zaha as a Pedro replacement, but definitely not as a replacement for Willian. 

    Talk is Palace want Batman, or Giroud, or both. Question is if either is willing to go to them. How much do they lower the price? Giroud at most we could say is worth 10mill, Batman 30mill maybe. Palace would still want 40mill on top.

    I just do not see Zaha being able to fix our attacking issues. He did not handle the pressure at United.

    Pretty unfair to mention his time at United. He was 18, and I think Ferguson signed him, then David Moyes took over and didn’t fancy him. He was the same age as Hudson Odoi now.

    I’d rather see us sign someone else but Zaha wouldn’t make a bad squad player, but I have no idea what the board are thinking. I really hope they don’t look at Zaha as a potential key player.

    £80m & already on a reported £120k at Palace, he really isn’t worth it. Pep isn’t remotely interested even with Sane’s injury & contract uncertainty, Klopp bought a winger from Salzburg at a bargain, even Utd with a sell on clause haven’t gone back for him. Just don’t do it please.

    80 million? We got 93 for Hazard..you must be joking or smoking or both. I’d put another 20 mil on top and get sancho all day everyday, that’s a seriously overpriced poor mans willian
