While you're here, I want to know why you and @yorkleyblue don't argue anymore, that was my main source of entertainment on this forum, anything I can do to stir the pot?

Because he came round to the side of light and truth and obviously accepted I was correct 🙂

I reckon is more he is taking the respect your elders more seriously 😉

I think this thread in in serious danger of going off topic.

Having said that someone said pros use PCs.

This is what's wrong with the world, kids these days are growing up thinking they can be professional gamers(whilst I am well aware this was said about football a hundred years ago) where on earth is money going to come from to pay for professional gamers. Is my children going to be watching people play COD on sky sports telling their kids that they could of gone pro if they had not got that thumb injury?

Billy Gilmore will be impressed that his thread has turned into console wars.

While he plays for Newcastle on loan...

Im going to laugh when after you tell this to your child they respond "Dad....you watch men in a field kicking a f**king ball.....whats your point?"

Old people are vulnerable at the moment, I didn’t want to put more on his mind and wind him up on a football forum 😙

With that I'll respond with "son, it is not just men kicking a ball in a field. Chelsea once had a player called Kepa who used to be able to juggle the ball into his own net."

I had to explain to my 9 year old daughter why I was pissed off at chelsea yesterday as she said "it's only football" so I had to use something she understood, and said it was like Anna sacking elsa and making her go and be a princess of some horrible Town filled with trolls....she got it then.....

It's only good news if he plays.

I'd much rather he plays 15 games this season than 0. Regardless of who they are for.

If this is Tuchel's preference I support it 100%. I like Billy and I hope he makes team Scotland but I don’t lose sleep if he doesn't. I think Tuchel can really teach him in the role he fits best. Tuchel already said he is not sure if Billy’s physique is enough to meet the demands of the Prem. Frank didn't really play Billy in the crucial games apart from the ones he had to play Billy due to injuries.

I think when we have a guy like Tuchel playing 5 games but learning under him would easily trump 6 months of full matches under say Bruce.

Unless someone like Hassenhuttl would take him I think he'd be better served staying here.

Good decision and not surprised ... if he went on loan that would leave us three specialist players for the two central midfield "double-six" roles ... and that is not enough when one of them is injury prone, and the other two collect yellow cards for fun 🙂

I was actually thinking Southampton was the most likely destination. I don't want him to going to Newcastle.

I'm glad if he does stay. I think he's shown enough this season that he has a chance to play himself into the first team.

Kante's form has been pretty erratic and Jorginho for the most part continues to be pretty underwhelming most of the time.

A bit like Mount, Gilmore is confident to receive the ball in tight space, play on the half turn and get us moving forward which is a massive attacking attribute to have.

Strachan was a wee fella and great PL player, I think he’ll be ok, or get him on the Steak n Guinness

Thought he did alright last night.

Nice through ball to James that led to the goal and played quite a few passes that switched play and got us moving forward. Continues to play on the front foot and looks to get the team moving forward all the time.

I'm definitely a fan of Gilmour and think that he could potentially play himself into contention... Not sure he'll start many ahead of Jorginho or Kante just yet but he's done himself no harm with another decent appearance last night.

Seeing him in the more advance role and not at the DM position makes sense but the question is just how much he can compete with Mount, Havertz and once we get back Barkley...

I much prefer him in the deep lying midfield, getting the ball from defence and start a play. I don’t think advanced role suits him
