VAR as a concept is good, but when the same incompetent dipsh*ts out in the pitch are the ones using it you're going to get sh*t like this. I've said it over and over, the standard of refereeing in this country is shockingly bad.

Apart from his shot technique and ability to score, Alonso is awful. Loses the ball way too much. 

You're all forgetting that refs don't want the criticism for punishing Spuds players properly. It's the Twattenburg approach. They have immunity at the Bridge. Surprised Walton didn't make that clear.

Why do managers Waste their effort time breath remerstrating with the 4 th official ,because whatever the outcome on the pitch it will never get changed wrong or right ,just blank him Frank and concerntrate on the pitch 

We really need to lodge an official complaint about VAR, It's just farsical now.

I'm not sure either, he wants to drag the ball back and there's nothing he can do once Dave makes the tackle.

Jorginho and Kovacic are monstrous together, Alonso actually looks world class as a wingback, but in a back 4 he looks so bad its laughable!

Barkley has been poor mostly but decent in parts, Mount having a better game than some of his recent performances. Giroud much better than bats

I agree. The question was why hasn’t he played this season. The answer is because it doesn’t work in a 4 and we normally play a 4.
