Personally if we end up with the Super Cup, Community Shield, World Club Cup & another cup it would have been a brilliant season. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a Cup Manager/Specialist. I know we keep taking players from Leicester but taking their trophy too is taking it a bit far, even if it is a friendly trophy.
February 11, 20224 yr Tuchel is a genius at winning football matches and has adapted well to the Premier league, but to win this league something will have to change. While 3atb does bring success in cup matches as pointed out on here it probably won't be enought win a league campaign anymore. Liverpool and City win relentlessly for 3 reasons in my opinion. Firstly their defenders and midfield are good enough to not need a 3rd cb and therefore they don't have to commit to 5 defenders like we do. Secondly because they play with less players in defence they can commit more bodies forward which makes them more open on the counter. By being more open it allows opponents to come on to them more which in turn makes their opponents more vunerable on the counter. That last sentence ties in with the final point, elite finishers, doesn't mater if they're not traditional strikers both City and Liverpool have elite goal scorers and therefore when they do create chances they finish them with high efficiency. All of these points we've spoken about on here multiple times, if we're aware Tuchel and his coaching staff must be also. If Tuchel wants to play 3atb then let him but he needs the players to allow him to do so. The board should have bought Kounde in the Summer, they should 100% buy him this summer. They should give him two to three more of his first choice targets in whatever position and commit to the TT project. We should also continue to back TT choices as long as they continue to bring results, as much as much as we regret bringing Lukaku back he's here now and if TT sees him as his guy then that means he's our guy. I think he will come good and the main reason he's lost his potency is the lack of Reece and Ben who had been providing him with some good deliveries and early balls. I still think 442/424 is the future direction if we get the right players in, I assume that is TT's plan, but for all we know he may want to continue with 3atb for the entirety of his managerial reign.

February 12, 20224 yr Hate to rain on a parade but when we sack managers around this time we win Champions Leagues or at least make it to the final. Goodbye Thomas?

February 12, 20224 yr He has some record in knockout football since arriving. Nearly always gets the job done even if it’s not too pretty at times. Hopefully this continues in 2 weeks time.
February 12, 20224 yr He's got some work to do now, we inched past Plymouth, Al Hilal and Palmeiras.. the last few matches have been unenjoyable and draining for me. Hopefully another weeks good rest and prep work gets us back to some kind of good form.

February 12, 20224 yr Not sure why he’s being lauded. I won it all with Chelsea on Championship Manager 93 on the Amiga. Did it all within a year and followed it up similarly with Oldham, Crewe and Chesterfield
February 12, 20224 yr Quote Thomas Tuchel has revealed he told Chelsea 's players that "everyone is jealous" of them before they became world champions by winning the FIFA Club World Cup final.
