I did notice that there hasn't been one single argument on the matchday thread tonight....I think maybe we should all create an argument in his honour.

You create a f**king argument if you want one...lazy git.

Amazing amazing performance. Every single player to a man was fantastic. Our defence and Kante and Jorgi were absolutely fantastic today. I thought maybe Kova might have been a better option for getting out of their press and for his mobility but Jorgi was really impressive today as was Kante who was simple incredible, and both deserved to start. Christensen and Rudiger were straight 10/10s and the rest were 9s minimum.

I thought I was going to lose my second PC within a fortnight so I dropped the stream and listened to BBC.

Tommy Tactics did very well today.

James was shaky for the first ten yet Azpi covered well.

Rudiger had a couple of moments to forget and I think Christensen one too.

Did we have luck with the Kante handball. I've lost track of the rules.

Mount scored a terrific goal.

Werner was a little unlucky yet put in a good shift work wise.

Overall we worked harder and smarter than the Reds and got the result we deserved.

Felt Liverpool needed their twelfth man to influence the ref.

Now lets see if we can put the blue half of Merseyside to the sword too.

Klopp and the team look knackered, not taking away from how we played but they were shocking. He is in denial too he has gone full on Mourinho!

And talk about form, they were 8 points ahead of Man City at one stage now they are 22 points behind ! - And we thought our form was bad under Frank

Brilliant overall display. We bossed most of the game, looked so comfortable on the ball and had them chasing shadows.

Werner seemed onside from what pictures I saw, ziyech unlucky with the one off the line. Werner could have scored a couple more.

Really one goal win is not a fair reflection of how good we were.

Felt we were lucky on the Kante handball call.

A lot of people were concerned when they saw Jorginho in the lineup, especially against Liverpool's press but he was magnificent. Controlled the game. Christensen and Mount brilliant once again too. Christensen and Jorginho were written off by a lot fans throughout the season, especially Christensen. He was suuperb and did not have Thiago Silva alongside him. We did not give them a sniff and was also brilliant. Delighted and bar Man City, we have played all the 'major teams' away from home now which is a bonus.

if Mane went down it would be a pen no doubt

It just shows how so many penalties these days are bollox. I’m an old git, from the mindset of staying on your feet. So many challenges you can easily stay on your feet - a clip isn’t a foul. But people flopping all over the place means they get given. It’s bullsh*t and turning many games into penalty shoot-outs.

I want to say great performance against great team but that wasn't the case.

I don't see relentless press from pool, all I saw was half-ass press and no midfield protection for two slow cb + rb who can't defend.

Certainly not the Liverpool from a year ago that's for sure; injuries haven't helped them but Klopp has had most of the season so far to sort their sh*t out, including a January transfer window, which they did nothing to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the year.  You can only play what's in front of you and I assume this was Klopp's best 11 for the players he has available. They are still the current champions and we spanked them today...might make the Europa league if they are lucky....hope not.

My point is the one that we played yesterday barely resemble pool from the last 3 years. There is no relentless pressing nor high intensity offense.

It was still a very good performance but it wasn't against a really good team. They have lost 5 games in a row at home for a reason.
