One of his worst performances today. Amazed that Madueke went off and Gallagher stayed on

Not his fault he was playing LW. If there's no space for him in the middle then don't use him, quite simple I would have thought but Poch had other thoughts. 

I thought tonight was one of his best games.

Knew when to press, knew when to hold, wasn't too rash and flying out of position to win the ball back and leave massive holes in the midfield. I also thought his partnership with Caicedo was pretty good too.

Should not be talked about selling should never be sold and if he’s sold the fans should let the 🤡 of an owners know to get f**ked!!!

Neither he or Enzo should be playing CAM anymore. 

Poch needs to have a flexible system. Both would benefit in a 433.

Gallagher played great today. All signs say we're selling him, but we should be signing him up! Hope the bozos in charge see sense before it's too late...

Outstanding performance tonight for Gallagher. Didn't put a foot wrong.

Maybe Clearlake will try something similar to what they did with the Chelsea hotels, selling them to another company that they own to raise money. So sell Conor to Strasbourg and then loan him back 😉

I'm sure they will come up with a cunning plan, e.g. 70M transfer to Strasbourg, 4 years loan back to Chelsea with a fee of 5M each year. I'm sure Gallagher won't mind a week or 2 in France during the summer😅

I’m pleased for him, after all the stick he gets (some of it deserved) Liked his captain’s part in the penalty fiasco.

Never injured!!! Just for that he should get a new contract and double up the salary 🤣

I'll say this now, as someone who has stated numerous times that they don't rate Gallagher, hell I've been open for us selling him all season. I'm starting to rethink it when I see some of the other squad members and how little they care about the team. 

I'll never fault Gallagher's commitment to Chelsea, always looks after himself, always gives it a 100%. It's becoming a very valuable and rare asset at Chelsea right now, before that used to just be the bare minimum, well not anymore.

Conor at number 10 doesn't work. He's not creative enough, technical enough or score anywhere near enough goals. He's far far better playing deeper.

Conor Gallagher is a player we should 100% keep IMO.

Definitely. We just need to play him deeper and play attackers in attack.

Limited player, and doesnt have awareness, touch or vision to be playing in pockets across the front line. Still a valuable squad player though, press really well, great tackler, and is good at crashing the box late too.

Sadly he will probably end up at spurs while we replace him with 20 year old championship level player from abroad on a death row contract. 

Probably a bit harsh, but he's just not good enough. He gives his all every game and hits the levels of the others who look like they couldn't care less. 

He'll continue to be a standout whilst we are sh*t but if we ever get good again, his flaws will be exposed. The fact that he is seen as so influential for us by the media is actually a damning critisim of how average we are. As mentioned before, I think he's good enough to be a decent squad player if he's happy in that role (if we ever get good again).

Odegaard was splitting our defensive line with his link up play and cut through passes. That is a creative number 10.

We have Gallagher, in no fault of his own, being responsible for this because Poch values running more than actual technical ability.

Yep - Connor is a cracking utility player to have in the squad, to come in and do a job when needed - but he is never in a month of sundays a starting number 10 for a team with genuine aspirations.
