Shirt Sponsor - what to do for the rest of the season?

Featured Replies

With "Three" looking to withdraw sponsorship on the Chelsea shirt, what should the club do for the rest of the season?

1. No sponsor? Barcelona went for years without a sponsor on their shirt as a policy. Money eventually changed their thinking.

2. A Charity? Could be one that the club is currently linked to, or something new.

3. Anti-War? Could go for something in relation to the current war to show solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

Don't think going sponsorless is the right call, in all honesty. But, going with a charity or an anti-war message would be the appropriate response leaning more towards the charity that would benefit those escaping the war or something of the ilk. I guess you could combine 2 and 3.... wait... we will skip that number from now on... we will combine option 2A and 2B and go with that I think

Someone should figure out who our first shirt sponsor was (Autoglass?) and put their logo on the shirt, even if that company is no longer in business.
