Maybe we should try and get this guy in for next year with the promise of CL footy 2024/2025 before someone else snaps him up.

Cannot imagine anymore superstars (potential or current) are going to want to come here without CL for 2023/2024.

We must go for him. PL proven striker, not a risky move.  Won't cost more than 60 millions I think. 

Rather signing him than taking another risk by splashing 100M+ on a Osimhen. We failed with Werner and Lukaku. Can't happen three times...

Why does this myth keep getting spun? We got Kante without UCL football and Enzo at a point missing out was highly likely.

There's a big list of top class players who have joined clubs without UCL football, including Ronaldinho on three separate occasions.

If we're going for a cheaper option then I'd prefer Mitrovic, plays in a possession based team and has 52 goals in 81 games for Serbia. 

 

Though my first choices would be Osimhen, Kane or Goncalo Ramos

True when we finished 10th, but would it still be true if we finished 14th-16th? Hopefully the money still talks though.

I feel we'd be able to play the one off card even then, especially given (hopefully) Luis Enrique's appointment.

Wouldn`t be my first choice. Then again, we desperately need a striker so would be better than nothing.

262 breaches though. I'd say it could of been far worse, particularly when a lot of the time will be served in the off season and he can actually train with the club in September.

Disagree. He knew the rules and ignored them for 4 years. 262 breaches, he's lucky it's only 8 months.

Knew the rules clearly and still broke it, really got no sympathy for him. It will rule him out of the big money move this summer, no clubs want this kind of distraction.

Yeah he is probably should have made it a full season. They have to discourage the youngsters from copying him and punish the player for doing it
