May 29, 20251 yr Big pass for me, it’s just adding another average winger to Madueke and Neto. Between the 3 of them, they scored 16 league goals. Newcastle got 24 goals from Murphy, Barnes & Gordon, and are trying to add 20 League goals Mbuemo into the mix. Oh and they have a 20 league goal CF in Isak. Sancho at best is a floor raiser, Mbuemo goes to either Newcastle or Utd and raises the ceiling like Mane did for Liverpool after moving from Southampton.

He’s worth 25m all day, but wages that high would be very questionable, especially with this Micky Mouse wage structure the club run!You can see by his body language that he really wants to be here, he even had a Chelsea Blue phone case! 👀I think he’s easily our best winger and will turn something into a goal on his own!
May 29, 20251 yr If he lower his wages I would definitely keep him, because you know his quality and he has good relationships with the entire squad. He’s a Chelsea fan and he will definitely give his all playing for us.We can and will definitely do worst with how we waste money on the market. This is very low risk at £25m

He has good moments in him, we've seen that, but I expect more consistent high level stuff from him, not just moments. Can't we really get better than him?

If he is genuinely a chelsea fan, then let him reduce his wages to e reasonable level to fit the structure.

He’s only been here for 1 season and he’s already done much better than whatever he did at Man Utd, and looking at his time at Dortmund I know he can do it.Clearly I’m a big fan of Sancho and I just think he is at the club where he always wanted to be, if we are ever going to see the best of him it could only be here.Being a Chelsea fan, loving every minute of being here, I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t drastically reduce his wages to stay here.
May 29, 20251 yr At 25m it’s a no brainer. His stock is still very high in Germany. Id expect him to have an offer of a much lower wage than he is currently at.
May 29, 20251 yr Part of me wants him as a squad player but at those wages? Not gonna happen. He is perfect as a backup winger/something different for the opponent to think about-type of winger.

Its pretty obvious his next club won't be paying the wages that Utd were.

So it’s either make bank there until summer 2026, and leave as a free agent, or miss a massive pay day and take a wage cut a year early.
May 29, 20251 yr If he demands lower wages and we can sell Noni and/or Neto, then keep Sancho as a back up. But we need a winger with more consistency and that can score and assist regularly. Estevão is unproven for the time being and George needs time to develop.
May 29, 20251 yr We're paying Neto £160K a week according to Capology, so I imagine any deal for Sancho would have to be on minimum similar grounds for it to be acceptable to Sancho.Far too much for both of them if you ask me ... By comparison, Mudryk is on £100K, Noni is on £50K and Tyrique £7.5K

I am 63, just reaching my peak, and I'm better in the air than Jackson. My terms are; I won't wear gloves in cold weather, or those clingfilm undershirts. Boots must be no other colour than Black. Music in the changing room on match days can be 70s or 80s but mostly The Jam or The Clash. I must be allowed to bully Jackson whenever I feel like it and I don't have to be present for any of Maresca's team talks.I can start next Tuesday. Edited May 29, 20251 yr by just

It's total squad cost as well, so wages + amortised transfer fees + agent fees + first-team coaching expenses.SCR rules for the EPL have been deferred for at least another season, but the new proposal is:Clubs competing Europe - 70% SCR (matching UEFA)Clubs not competing in Europe - 85% SCRWages cap of 5x the 20th placed club's revenueHowever, the CWC revenue + increased sponsorship (hopefully...) + player sales should see us handily eclipse that ratio. 2021 CL win coming in clutch for Blueco again. May 30, 20251 yr If he can agree to lower his wages then signing him is a no brainer. I believe our wingers will have more G/A contributions once we have a proper striker upfront as well.If it doesn't work out next season, then we can sell him for 50 mil.

May 30, 20251 yr Considering we need to go big with strikers and comply with FFP, I think keeping Sancho for 25m is not a tough choice. Mudryk's future is in doubt and we have this guy who is already integrated to the side. Depends on what the club is doing in the market of course but I think he's merited his stay. Up to Sancho I think.
