September 22, 201510 yr I just made an acc to talk about this :D. I'm a United fan but I just had to do it. Geez you lot are special bunch. What he did was mark him out of the game. If Koscienly starts crying after he get's hit like Diego did after he got "hit" by Gabriel it's a red card for Diego and Arsenal play the second half against 10 man. If Koscienly starts crying after getting hit the second time....if Koscienly jumps to the ground like any player in Spain would, and rolls around...Costa get's a red card .... Gabriel was stupid to do that, even if that is not a kick. Costa is ...well Costa. But in this mess...the only one who acted well was the french man. Di Mateo goal in the FA CUP. What year ? That was the question to register, how many of you used google for that one? :D :D :D I guess inversely Diego could of just folded to the ground when Kolscielny was fouling him all game leading up to the incident...... I know the ref's for years have been allowing MUFC defenders to basically introduce Greek wrestling to the game but believe it or not, it's an illegal move and not "man marking someone out of the game"
September 22, 201510 yr sorry about being a c**t. it's in my nature. but you stimy did get pretty pissed off about the question thing. i got you. it's not your fault mate. football just wasn't really that great before 2005. It's like these trolls use minimal effort, I feel sorry for them.
September 22, 201510 yr I find it strange that people are are still surprised That Costa has been Charged, the writing was on the wall the moment Wenger through yet another hissy fit. I swear that guy is worse than the spoilt kids who visited Wonka's factory. Wenger will secretly be thanking his lucky stars as the whole Costa saga has taken the limelight away from his teams and his Managements ineptness. Mourinho clearly did a job on him and his team and they quite frankly looked one dimensional and poor and were quite lucky to be level at the stage when the incident occurred. He has turned into such poor Manager it's unreal, Arsenal are always going to be a "Nearly" team which is always a signing away from truly challenging. Give Mourinho that squad for 2-3 seasons and he will win you the league without a shadow of doubt.
September 22, 201510 yr What's Costa got to do with their beer drinking habits? I'm sure they have plenty of Guinness and bitter drinkers in their ranks. Laager as in the Afrikaans sense of a siege mentality. Laager is the Afrikaans word for the compound they used to settle in surrounded by a high wooden fence. Thus, laager mentality means having a siege mentality. Got it? Sheesh........
September 22, 201510 yr Unsurprisingly, many of you on here fail to accept my disinterested and objective observations on Costa v Arsenal. Looks like those other independently minded chaps over at the FA insofar as he is concerned, agree with me. I'd say he'll get a ban, which is well deserved. It'll be interesting to see if he is capable of moderating his behaviour now to avoid such unpleasantness in the future. The irony of it all is he's now likely to be a marked man. Instead of in future being the agent provocateur par excellence, it's likely the boot will be on the other foot with opponents trying to target his fragile temperament. Hmmmmm.................
September 22, 201510 yr I prefer a donner TBH. Such wit........the Oscar Wilde no less of the Shed End.....any other bon MOTD to share with us? If you really are from Peckham, you should be supporting your local team at South Bermondsey not the Sloaneys from Fulham Broadway.
September 22, 201510 yr BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal win appeal against Gabriel's red card at Chelsea on Saturday.
September 22, 201510 yr Ducking joke...fa overturn Gabriel's red card...so he won't be banned, but you can bet your bottom dollar Costa will be banned
September 22, 201510 yr Gabriel gets off? Must be on the grounds of the Matic case last season. In which case, Costa will be banned instead. They've still charged Gabriel with improper conduct after being red carded so ill doubt he will get off Scot free.
September 22, 201510 yr Unbelievable decision from the FA overturning Gabriels red card. So a player who is rightly sent off gets his 3 match ban lifted, whilst you can bet your bottom dollar that Costa, who wasn't sent off gets a 3 match ban slapped on him. Ffs.
September 22, 201510 yr Such wit........the Oscar Wilde no less of the Shed End.....any other bon MOTD to share with us? If you really are from Peckham, you should be supporting your local team at South Bermondsey not the Sloaneys from Fulham Broadway. Why should I when I grew up near Stamford Bridge. Next?

You are really starting to irritate me now you pretentious little twat.
September 22, 201510 yr Author Can't believe they've overturned Gabriel's red card, especially after his own manager admitted his was at fault.
September 22, 201510 yr I'm not that concerned with Gabriel's card getting over turned, seeing as they're not playing us next. Seems a strange precedent though, and it least we'll be treated to Wenger's smug face in his next presser, which is almost as funny as his angry face.
September 22, 201510 yr Gabriel is still to face his charge for improper conduct. So can he banned for that now then?
September 22, 201510 yr The irony of it all is he's now likely to be a marked man. Instead of in future being the agent provocateur par excellence, it's likely the boot will be on the other foot with opponents trying to target his fragile temperament. So back to normal service??? And lol. Costa. Fragile. Edited September 22, 201510 yr by Stim
September 22, 201510 yr Author Gabriel gets off? Must be on the grounds of the Matic case last season. In which case, Costa will be banned instead. Matic still served a two game ban, including a cup final. Ashley Barnes served no suspension for a tackle that could have caused serious injury. If we're comparing it to the Matic situation it's highlighting once again the FA's lack of consistency with retrospective punishment.
September 22, 201510 yr I can only guess that he's got away with because they are going to ban him for his improper conduct charge. Probably the right thing to do because anything more than 3 games would of been a tad harsh.
September 22, 201510 yr F me just when you though the FA couldn't get any more biased prob give Diego an extra 1 or 2 matches banned just to even it out C-U-N-T-S
September 22, 201510 yr Gabriel is still to face his charge for improper conduct. So can he banned for that now then? He'll still get banned, it just won't be 3 games. Most likely be 1 game for improper conduct. Basically all they are saying is that Gabriel's kick wasn't worth a straight red and a 3 game ban, it was worth a second yellow and a 1 match ban which I think is correct. I remember being surprised Dean gave him a straight red when I was watching live. Edited September 22, 201510 yr by Remodez

Thus, laager mentality means having a siege mentality. Got it? Sheesh........ Well, no. A laager is a wagon fort. The word you're thinking of is Lager which is German for camp, and sometimes is used as a short for concentration camps (Konzentrationslager) in other languages.
September 22, 201510 yr I wonder if anybody is going to deny the FA bias against Chelsea this time? Absolute joke
