I'm in full agreement with you. Costa has been an aqward c*** since the day he walked into Stamford Bridge. I had enough of him ages ago. 

I was just criticising Conte for his part but that no way means I am defending Costa. I hate the prick.

There is absolutely no doubt that words are not working ...simalar situation as Donald Trump & North Korea......therefore the old fashioned face to face approach should take place.... Mr Emanelo of CFC should be on the next plane to Brazil and bring Costa back with him ...for a meeting to take place between Conte and Costa with Emanelo as the Referee ! 

Then we inform Athletico Madrid that they either pay up the 50 million ( which is a very fair price) or they don't get him until he's out of contract in 2 years time. And he rots in the reserves until then.

Either way as a footballer whatever the circumstances it's a loss, good news is morata looks the real McCoy. 

I don't know how management works at big club level but I would do my best, as the owner/board member, to find a solution and keep Diego on the team and Conte happy. They are basically acting like little kids... Both Conte and Costa if what the papers say is true... Having a focused Costa + Morata + Bastshuayi would be scary to the opposition.

Then came the Laudrup mess... I mean to this day, what the actual f*ck happened there. Home sicke for FC copenhagen? you have been living in Scotland!! I maintain to this day had We kept hold of him we would have one the league that season, we where just a little bit short in the end and having that extra bit of quality might have been the difference maker. I think it probably did happen. But Costa has jumped on an opportunity a bit too much.

That seems to be one of the great conundrums; whilst appearing to be run by a system of organised chaos, we’ve had a pretty impressive trophy haul in the last 15 years, but… had we been run in a less chaotic manner through this period, would we have less silverware or would we have had more?

I think we could have had more. The resources we’ve had in this period make it conceivable that we could have had an extra league or champions league title. I’ve always felt that we’ve not been good at gentle and constant refreshing and improvement of our team. I feel we’ve been a bit prone to waiting till we’ve suddenly found ourselves needing to replace 3, 4 or 5 players at the same time.

I’m still hoping beyond all reasonable hope that Costa can be reintegrated into the squad. Maybe if they can get him back here to train, maybe just maybe things can be patched up. At least until the end of the season.

The fact he has been posting social media stuff of him messing about, rather than training and showing that hes keeping himself in shape (other than a 5 a side kick about), says a lot.

Simon Jordan has launched a blistering attack on Diego Costa and called on the footballing authorities to take strong action against the Chelsea rebel.

The striker is refusing to return to Stamford Bridge after claiming he was sent a text message in June by boss Antonio Conte telling him he will not part of his plans going forward.

Costa says he was been treated like a ‘criminal’ by the club and is prepared to remain in exile for a YEAR if he does not get his wish to move back to Atletico Madrid.

His antics have prompted a furious outburst from Jordan, the outspoken former Crystal Palace owner, who was a co-host alongside Jim White on talkSPORT on Tuesday.

He insisted Costa has only himself to blame for the situation he has found himself in and has called on the PFA and FA to intervene and throw their support behind Chelsea.

“The player has reaped what he sowed,” said Jordan. “He had an altercation earlier in January, he fell out with a fitness trainer there and, whether it was his agent or himself, then started to wax lyrical about opportunities for himself in China at keys time in the season.

“He was probably told by Chelsea he was able to move in the summer if he got his boots on and helped them win the Premier League, but it that doesn’t alter the fact that he was very disruptive at a key time in the season for Chelsea. Certain managers that have the courage of their convictions won’t forget that so he has reaped what he sowed.

“Here we are now where a manager by text, by phone, by carrier pigeon – who cares - told him he was surplus to requirements. That doesn’t mean that he then gets to go on strike, do exactly what he pleases and sit on a beach or at home on the other side of the world.

“What he gets to do as an employee of a football club, within reason, is to do as he is told, which is to get his backside back to the training ground, keep himself fit and not do exactly what he wants, which is bowl around in an Atletico Madrid shirt orchestrating a move he wants to get ultimately for reasons he has created by his attitude.

“Chelsea are well within their rights to take a stance. They are well within their rights to tell a player that he is no longer required.
