He had a poor 45 minutes and the mistake that lead to the goal was crucial, so obviously he is going to get some stick.

 

I expect the pitchforks to be out as people are frustrated  but I still don't believe he is one of the main issues we need to be worrying about, nor have his performances, overall, been any more underwhelming than Oscar's, or Hazards when he has played.

 

That said, happy for Kennedy to be given the nod in front of him, why not, the whole team is not up to scratch so if there are young players knocking on the door and impressing when given the chance this is the season to give them a proper run of games.

He was poor last night but i'm not going to give up on him yet. He look's like a player who has quality but hasn't gotten used to the physical side of the league yet. I think he could help himself if he wasn't so one paced, he doesn't know how to slow down, he is always running at full speed. He needs to calm down a bit.

Needs to hit the weights. He's so lightweight it's ridiculous. Maybe you can get away with that in the sh*tty Spanish league where half the clubs are league 2 quality, but not here.

He does need more strength or he needs to play with a brain, he doesn't even attempt to fool his defender, it's like he telegraphs his movement to them to say "I'm going to run now, catch me if you can" so they get physical and he loses the physical battle obviously.

 

I never liked how Willian would stop and slow the attack down to try and beat his man but that is exactly what Pedro needs to do. He's never going to beat his man when they know what's coming and gives him space to run into the trap.

Some good crosses at the start of the second half.  Just strange that he, and the rest of the tea, didn't really start attacking until we were 0-2 down

He had 2 good crosses; other than that I think he was rubbish.

Considering he spent the whole game crossing instead of trying to take players on and make something happen, 2 good ones isn't good enough.

I bet if his name were Kennedy he'd start more often.

It would have been best if Pedro was sent to United. United would have lost 20 Mil, Chelsea would have saved 20 mil, Barca will get the money and Pedro will start over there !

 

I feel like we bought ourselves another Victor Moses for 20 mil in Pedro. 

I thought he would offer us goals but at the moment he looks lightweight and doesn't seem to suit English football. But he isn't the only under performer for us this season.

I was really happy to see that he wasn't in the squad for the Watford game. He doesn't deserve his place in the team. He just runs around like a headless chicken. I think leaving Barcelona has exposed him as a player. I wouldn't mind if we sold him in the summer in order to make way for the likes of Kenedy.
